Unfortunately, I could not sleep at all because of the constant train noise outside the hotel. The noise continued throughout the night, and I didn't get any sleep. A hotel should be a place where guests can rest, but that was impossible during my stay. I spoke with the front desk about the issue, but I received no apology, no solution, and no meaningful customer service. I understand that the hotel is located downtown, but guests should be informed that the train noise can be this disruptive, or the hotel should make an effort to help affected guests. I paid to have a comfortable place to sleep, but that basic expectation was not met. This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had. If you are a light sleeper or have an early morning, I would strongly recommend choosing a different hotel.

Spectacular location, great staff. Thoughtful design/set-up

Bathroom lights didn’t work. Shower doors would not remain closed and constantly slid open. Had to place a towel between the rollers to keep open. Staff was not friendly and made us feel very uncomfortable during check in as well as trying to purchase water.

Convenient location to arenas and lots of downtown dining options and bars within walking distance. Check in was chaotic. Valet was overwhelmed with a backlog of cars, nowhere to drop it off, and ended up being told just to block a driveway. Trash in the gutters all up and down Central Ave in front of the entrance. Our room wasn’t ready, even after check in time. Told to wait at the bar. Did offer free drinks but one bartender there and also overwhelmed (ignoring some people who were waiting and helping others who just walked up, got an order wrong and dumped it out). It had that vintage feel of the 1920s with dark hallways and small rooms so I expected that but felt the actual hotel was lacking in some amenities that could be providing an ice machine at least on one floor.

I booked 2 queen beds for a 1 night stay and chose this hotel because of how close it was to the Mortgage Matchup Center for a concert I attended. They assigned me a corner room on the 4th floor facing the venue which was noisy due to the light rail crossing below. The light rail would shake the building and you could hear the bell ringing so wouldn't recommend for those who are sensitive to noise but luckily I packed ear plugs. l did see the hotel offered ear plugs which was nice. The room was clean over all, the layout was a little odd, and the bathroom was huge but unfortunately it was a sliding bathroom door. My biggest pain were the elevators, they were old and seemed like it would break at any moment. The elevators were extremely hot and the AC must have not been working inside of them. Additionally they were very slow and would take awhile to open and close. As someone who doesn't do well in small spaces or hot temperatures, I would not stay here again due to this. I did appreciate the drink vouchers which I used to redeem a Moxy Lowball which the bartender did a great job of making and it didn't taste cheap at all. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy but I guess that comes with staying anywhere downtown but with that there were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Absolutely loved "the stash" on our floor. It was so easy to grab an extra pillow and the amenities available in there were handy. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was great

Cozy room. Great location for walking to and from the D-Backs game! A little disappointed there was no fridge or coffee maker in the room.

    Horrible customer service

Great location for sporting events, clubs, and restaurants. The in house bar and lounging areas are great and fun. Amenities are easily accessible and convenient. Beware, the metro does shake up the hotel and can be loud. There’s a coffee menu at the bar, but no espresso machine for staff to prep coffee (there’s is drip coffee). Be extra mindful when walking around the south side of the street.
