NH Pisa

I found the situation both frustrating and inconvenient. The reception staff were unable to assist and merely advised me to contact Booking.com directly. I expected better support from the hotel in resolving a payment issue that was beyond my control.

Great hotel in front of the central train station. 20 minutes walk from the Tower. Very comfortable with spacious rooms. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Lots of places to eat/drink nearby and more within 10 minutes walk. Nothing.

The location is excellent-right next to the train station and within easy reach of Pisa's main attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay.

As a stickler for cleanliness in spaces I hope to relax, feel comfortable, and rest in, I was slightly off put upon entering the room. I immediately noticed red splatters on the bedsheet which concerned me, but I did well to avoid that.

The staff at the reception was amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was good, nothing special but good. The room cleanliness could really be improved. The towels were not changed even though I didn't hang them back; probably I should have tossed them on the floor. The shower took ages to get warm. No soap in the room, only those "green" dispensers that the only thing they do is make the hotel save money and don't save the environment. The intimate soap: I didn't use it since it had hair stuck to it (see picture). The tv did not work: the reception was awful and the tv was very very slow; probably it was a centralized software or something or maybe something connected the the internet which was another awful thing. The internet is free but it does not work at all. I had to use the hotspot (as many other guests as I have checked) to get any work done. Considering it is a quite expensive hotel compared to the average prices in Pisa I was expecting more than this.

Nothing If you are looking for a quaint historic hotel in Pisa that will take you back to the days that feel like the ‘80s you must stay in NH Pisa. The rooms are so old they almost feel like a Time Machine. When you complain the to staff they even acknowledge that the rooms have not been refurbished for a few many many years, but the hotel website happily show you a picture of the rooms that are. The carpets in the hallway to the room are so run down you might trip over your self if you havent already felt your stomach turn for the amount of grossness collect in it. The door to the room looks like it has been broken into a few times and barely closes. The latch as you can see in the pictures is hanging off the door frame, which makes it difficult to close or open the door.... which was the case when we got back and found the door ajar from the cleaning crew that wasn't able to close it. The bathroom is arguable to nicest with lovely tiling that is so old it actually is now back in fashion. The sink has more lines and cracks in it than a dot to dot drawing and is completed by a shower that is broken and won’t even go above waist height.
