Pros: 1. Immaculate resort. They keep this place spotless. Every part of the grounds are well kept up and it’s even more beautiful in person. 2. I keep seeing night life here at the resort is boring. For us, we found that not to be the case. They had many dance parties of all different genres. Obviously lots of Spanish songs we didn’t recognize, but never once affected us having a blast. 3. Kids club/family side was great. Loved the convenience of having a smaller buffet for kids and having a kids only area on the beach. 4. Dinner was always delicious. Our favorite restaurant was II Tartufo. Wasabi poke bowls were great along with the sushi! Tanuki was a very fun interactive dinner. Focaccia was an easy pizza/pasta dinner restaurant. 5. Beach was beautiful. Obviously it’s summer time and seaweed is an issue wherever you go. We frequently go to the gulf (Panama city) since we have a family beach house there and it’s always going to be an issue with seaweed during the summer. However, they did a wonderful job trying to clean it up when possible. Obviously they couldn’t prevent it, but they did a great job on moving it elsewhere. Cons: 1. AC is non existent here. We swapped rooms our first night. We didn’t even open the back door and came back to an extremely hot room. We had to beg for a dehumidifier the next day and my husband had to take an uber to town to get a fan to keep our room clean. There’s no air circulation in any of the restaurants. It’s hot and stagnant air to which makes a very uncomfortable dinner unless sitting outside. We are from Alabama so humidity is not new to us. 2. Dinner was delicious, but breakfast and lunch were terrible. Family buffet was easier to manage, but I’d hate to have to survive off the main buffet. It was a complete mad house the one day we tried to eat in there and the food was very unappealing. Lunch was not much better whether it was on the beach from the food truck, the outdoor buffet, or the main buffet. 3. Rude staff. We’ve been to Hyatt Zilara where their staff are INCREDIBLE and maybe we just have extremely high expectations, but the staff here are not friendly. Majority of the time we felt singled out bc we don’t “look” the type who speak Spanish. On one occasion at Cappucino we attempted to order something off the menu to which the waitress said “we don’t have that” and proceeded to speak derogatory about us in Spanish. Very tacky! We watched many people who were waited on in outdoor bar areas with smiles and kindness, while we were completely ignored. This even happened in the family area at breakfast.

Well maintained grounds. Good restaurants. Kind staff. Clean beach (minus the seaweed) Fun water park for kids. Nice shower. Easy access to everything with “train “ It felt old. The front pond with turtles was green and dingy and looked terribly run down. It did NOT give a good first impression

Starting from check-in with Jerry and Ness to the amazing servers Jhoermi and I forgot the ladies name, Everything was absolutely beautiful and amazing, please keep it that way for many years. Just a note definitely not a dislike, we stayed in the family club and there were couple days when they power washed the concrete around the pool, and cut the grass, I know it needs to be done but maybe not as early as 7:30-8:00 am.

The room was pretty clean Pools, food in general & cocktails were amazing. The beach was gorgeous and clean The elevator of the building didn’t work (building 9) almost 3 days off. And with kids, strollers, toys.. it was very difficult to get to the room. Just this little detail; but then everything was GREAT.

We really enjoyed the itinerary for kids and the tribute to Michael Jackson. We also enjoyed a lot of the food. The variety of food was great and the food trucks were a great bonus. I did like experiencing the undertone of disregard when engaging with some of the staff. In particular Nes at the family's check in and some servers. It didn't feel good as a non Spanish speaking African American watching the different professionalism, smiles and regard giving to the other ethnicities that may have been Spanish speaking. Also, be careful with utilizing the spa service. I did 2 services that amounted to 350.00 dollars and paid at time of service with my card. However, there was an added service added to my account for 175.00 and when asked to explain the receptionist avoided to explain However was extremely confident that I did get the service until I found my receipt. What makes it worst is Nes stated after finding out it was indeed an error the only this he said was "You're checked out". When I asked, Nes said " I guess they made a mistake". He refused to explain how or apologize. Very rude and dismissive.

Muy bueno todo

I did not like the booking agency, as my original reservation was for my 7 years old daughter and myself, and when checking into resort I learned the booking agency did not include my daughter. This resulted in me having to pay for my daughter. The price I payed included my daughter and I. There was no way for me to contact the booking agency to fix it. I am not pleased with the booking agency.

The food could have been a lot better and the portion size in the reserved restaurants needs to be more. There are no full size mirrors in the family rooms.

I really liked the service of the employees. It's a very nice place. I have nothing negative to say.

Nothing. The security is poor. My money was stolen from my room. The hotel management does not take care of it they only do a very light investigation and if you don't agree with the result they give you they tell you to make a complaint to the official authorities in the country. Going on vacation and being robbed is a nightmare. On the other hand the bathroom and room smelled like cockroaches and had cockroaches. The bath towels and pool towels were very deteriorated and it was disgusting to dry yourself with them. And all this despite being in a superior room. I do not recommend it and I would never come back. I give it 1 because I can't give it zero since it is not in the options. Stay away from this property; poor security
