Tropic Island Resort

The location. The cottage wasn't clean, the bed was uncomfortable, only received 1 roll of toilet paper for a 5 day stay.

Location, friendly staff, great pillows, lots of towels, rocking chairs on porch, great a/c, larger fridge and freezer that worked great, extra large closet. Floor was sandy, pricey per night, front door mat was torn and tripped me and should be replaced, bathroom sink is very old - missing porcelain and should be replaced, needs a hairdryer and more hangers.

Beds could use a good update. Mattress was a little too hard for my liking.

The pool area,they have a big enough pool for the little children to enjoy while parents watch them another pool on the side for adults and older children, a hot tub for adults and another small pool like a hot tub but its not,it's just to sit in and relax.A small snow cone shop at the pool area that also offers ice cream and shakes ? I also like that after 10pm there is quiet time.,no loud music or noise. There is nothing I don't like,my husband and I keep going back every chance we get.

It was very clean very quiet. I really enjoyed this day. Wish I could’ve stayed longer. very convenient right on Avenue G. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the stay

The faucet for the shower seemed to be not working correctly. Had a hard time getting the right temperature. Either cold or scalding. Mentioned it to the staff on check out and they said they'd look into it.

We like the proximity to the Ferry, also that its family oriented and staff was friendly. The property is outdated, but also dirty. We found pieces of broken glass on the floor by the refrigerator. The sink smelled really bad when we washed some dishes. The sofa had stains and you could actually feel it dirty when sitting down.

Stayed in the 2 br apartment it was very spacious and comfortable. Refrigerator was pretty old. Could be updated for the amount they charge for this accommodation.

Location and the pool area was very nice. The parking can be a little tight, but it wasn’t that much of an issue

We love that. It’s easy to find and it has the ice cream. And also the Pool. We loved everything about it

Great for the price. The bed in the bedroom was not the most comfortable, although the sleeper sofa a pull out bed was much better. My boys slept on that, they loved it.

The location is very convenient. 1. Parking. Spaces are slanted and are hard to park in when other guest don’t park correctly. 2. The room we stayed in was a double queen bed. The restroom had a foul odor. Best described as armpit smell. Mold was on our shower curtain. The restroom was nasty. Very very very outdated restroom and room.

The staff in the office was very nice! It was dirty. There was a dirty cup and a lot of hair in the shower. The toilet was dirty and again hair was on it. The floor had not been swept. The kitchen counter and stove had food on them. There were 2 bags of OPENED chips left in the cabinet. I had to go buy cleaning supplies before we stayed. It was also very hot. One a/c is not enough for the bungalow. They did refund me $77 after I informed the office staff. We rented 4 rooms and had to clean All 4.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was challenging at our unit and outside area was very crowded.
