Holiday Inn Portland-By the Bay by IHG

The shuttle service was excellent. We loved the location and the view of the harbor. . Our room was not serviced and we had to make 2 requests to get towels brought to our room.

This was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in quite a few. The view from the room was amazing, the staff was very friendly and very helpful for even the smallest questions. They offered information that was helpful to a visitor. One of the best things was the shuttle. It not only goes back-and-forth to the airport, but it will bring you to your dinner reservation and other places on the Peninsula. The staff was so accommodating. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

Only issue was that the toilet was very slow to flush and needed up not flushing at all the morning we checked out. And parking garage was very tight but convenient! Everything else was great.

Great hotel! Location was very easily walkable to downtown wharf area. We had a gorgeous view of the harbor and very spacious room.

No help at all with luggage and arrival information.

Great hotel, but they put us in a room that butted up against the elevators. It never stopped making noise.

We had a great evening in Portland and a wonderful breakfast when we woke up.

Enjoyed our three day stay in Portland. So helpful to have a shuttle but even without it everything in the area was walkable. I upgraded our room to one with a view and it was so worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

The biggest downside was a very noisy HVAC unit in the room. You knew when it was on and it was not easy to adjust to a comfortable temperature, We ended up turning it off to get some rest, that made the room kind of stifling as their was seemingly no way to just get outside air .I did report this in the morning to staff.

Great location in downtown Portland!

One of 3 elevators was broken on Monday when everyone was checking out. The hotel is just about the edge of town but still within walking distance into greater Portland. Nice view of the bay and the shuttle bus is convenient. Will take you where you want to go and get you back to the hotel. Not as quick as Uber but its free.

This was a great hotel near the center of Portland. The room was wonderful. Parking very easy. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the downtown Portland area easily walkable.

We arrived late but the staff was quite helpful and accommodating. Scott at the front desk was an amazing guide to the city making many wonderful suggestions for places to go! The hotel is close to everything and parking was super easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
