Cambria Hotel Portland - Pearl District

the only thing we did not like was the fact that they did not clean the room daily. we wre there for 3 days and ran out of coffee and tp. they did provide more when we asked, but would be nice to get the housekeeping

Solo traveler stayed for 3 nights, worked remotely during day and pleasure in the evenings. Pros: Great neighborhood, lots of restaurants walking distance, grocery store near by, being a female felt pretty safe, hotel has a restaurant, hotel checkin was easy, there is valet parking for your car, staff was helpful, good wifi for remote work, noise level was minimal, bed was comfy enough, they were ok with early checkin and late checkout. Cons: valet parking is a bit pricey but it’s pricey at all hotels in downtown Portland, you need to give plenty of time for valet parking to get your car as it is away from the hotel property, no laundry washer or dryer on site. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay to one week.

Cambria was a great place to stay in the Pearl District. Great for walking to food, coffee & bars. Staff was Amazing! Great beds! Would stay again.

Close by to some cool things, the staff was very friendly. Restaurant is overly fancy and expensive. Ice machine is terrible!!! Some good things about this place. Some bad. Overall, just okay.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was great - nice amenity, comfy bed, very nice pillows. The location odd great - an easy walk to Pearl District shopping and to the main downtown area of Portland. The restaurant in the hotel serves a great breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved the hotel so nice and clean and new. Rooms were great. Restaurant was so good!! Only downside was that there are so many homeless people all around. We tried to go to the park right across the street but didn’t feel safe with our 2 year old. But loved the hotel itself. Probably wouldn’t stay again because of location.

Perfect location

Hotel is very nice. But the bar staff incredibly rude! Never had such a horrible bartender.

Amazing all around stay with the family.

This hotel is stylish and the staff was pleasant. It is loud, though, and that is why I'm giving it a less than stellar rating. The sounds from the street carried into my room, and the noise negatively impacted my sleep. It seems as though there is inadequate noise insulation between the rooms. The occupant of the room next to mine seemed to be pounding the wall as if I were making too much noise, even though I was merely watching TV at its default volume or otherwise puttering around the room. I deal with noise issues at my home, and I was hoping to catch up on sleep during this vacation, but, alas, I struggled here as well.

Exceptional

Nice room and friendly staff. Clean, comfortable and in good location.

This place was spotless, new, and very modern. Staff was curt and felt rushed. No long line, just see ID, ok, room blah blah blah. No small talk, no the elevators are… when asked about valet because of an event that didn’t allow access to front door, told talk to the valet attendant. Missed a perk on the family in front of us until the customer called it out. Then told me what my bill will be with even noticing I paid through a 3rd party. This event was known so I think they could have notified us at the time of reservations.

More expensive and less nice...

This is a great place to stay for a stay in Portland. Staff was super helpful (kind of crazy bicycle race made getting to the hotel tough but they took care of us). Great location. The valet staff was awesome. Our bartender was super helpful. It was a great value.
