Harlow Hotel

hotel itself was great. location was close to all i needed in portland but may be undesirable for folks not used to seeing the homeless of portland.

Clean room & bathroom, easy check in.

Basic motel, bit aged and not in the best area of town. Lots of homelessness folks around the motel. Which they can't help but unfortunately is a fact. Well located to city center activities. All at all a ok experience.

Super cute place in a perfect location by union station.

What amenities? Cafe was lacking. Staff has no idea how to make espresso beverages. And the food was just frozen garbage... not even good frozen food. Its like thebfrozen food that you always had to eat when you hung out with your trailer park friends snd their mom didnt ever cook just threw some nuggies or cardboard looking personal pizzas into the microwave oven. Yeah that type of frozen food. Also the hotel felt very drafty and cold even in my room with the heat blastintg I also had to run the hot water in the shower to get the room warm enough.

This hotel is within easy walking distance of many great restaurants and cafes. My room was large and overlooked a small park. The staff were very nice.

Pleasantly surprised by Harlow Hotel! Helpful staff, clean room, and a cozy historic building! I used a bar of soap that was a bit harsh on my skin but otherwise everything was perfect! Will stay here again next time I’m in Portland.

Easy street parking (you do have to pay until 7pm), staff super helpful, only complaint is no mini fridge in the room but other than that it was great!

We thought this property was really nice. Very unique style with comfort. Street parking a little uncomfortable if you’re not used to city parking but we did fine.

Bed comfort was ok. I think the mattress was a hybrid or inner spring which was a little bouncy and offered no movement isolation. Pillows were too fluffy for us as they were very high. We got a queen city-view room which was nice, but an interior, off-the-street room would have been better as there is a lot of middle-of-the-night noise such as loud cars and street racers, random yelling, and other sounds. Of course, ear plugs or noise canceling headphones would help. It was still excellent and offered great value, so I’m not really complaining, just making some observations for anyone thinking of staying here to consider.
