Will absolutely stay here again - great location, friendly and helpful staff, the gym was nice and had everything we needed. Hotel was right next to bus stops and food carts but most everything we wanted to do or explore was within walking distance.
-
Great hotel in a good area. There are walking distance restaurants, and coffee shops, Clean, friendly staff.

The staff was very nice. I was bitten up by bed bugs. There was evidentce of them on bedding and mattress cover. The manager did change my room. I was on edge after that. I was compensated a complimentary 1 day free stay.
-
Easy to walk downtown The room was not cleaned everyday and we had to request for cleaning

The staff worked tirelessly to ensure the hotel lobby and rooms were clean and presentable at all times. The staff was very polite and courteous, and willing to help however they could. My only reason I didn't rate it excellent in all areas of this review is that the room I was in seemed a bit rough around the edges. The toilet seemed to require 10-3 flushes regardless of use, and the shower floor was a bit slippery. Those matters are not the staff's fault; they just happen with frequent visitors. I would recommend that if you need or plan to stay in downtown Portland for a few days, this could be a great option.

Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel felt very secure.

I went to complain and was told pizza doesn’t look as good as the picture, they said I was sold the room not the view, and that this is a 3 star hotel - wow.
-
Great location, friendly staff, good value except parking is expensive), and amenities. Expensive parking, and I booked reservation of 4 rooms weeks prior and they could not accommodate us on the same floor. Really annoying because of the elevator keys.

Exactly what you’d expect from a Marriott property. Loved the location too. There’s a food cart pod right next door and both Voodoo Donuts and the Pearl District are a 5 minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one night, but it was convenient to the venue for the show we saw. It was a clean, comfortable room. No complaints.

Hotel staff was pleasant. Having a restaurant/bar on site was nice. The city was pressure washing the streets at 1am. Which is was really annoying. Would ask to put in a room on the other side of building.

The staff here did a great job of going out of their way to help me when I needed something refrigerated even though it was after my checkout time. They also allowed me to get into my room early as I had an early TV call-time that afternoon and needed to take a shower. I have now stayed here 4 times and will do so again next August. This property does a good job with hiring people with great customer service.

I was really surprised to find a Courtyard by Marriott property as poorly cleaned/maintained as this one was. The room was nice and clean however the common areas were not. Carpets dirty and not vacuumed, elevator dirty with cracked tiles and fingerprints all over. Hallways had bagged up trash that guests had set out that hadn’t been picked up. It feels like a small little efficiency hotel tucked into a nook downtown-not at all what I expected from the brand.
