Only the location is good , in my opinion price is high for this place

It was a refurbished old building which makes it a more authentic stay. It's close to the centre but away from the crowdest areas. Also has a couple of parkings close to the hotel so it's quite convenient if you travel by car. 26€/day at the moment I went. There was some funny smell in the common areas but didn't affect the rooms.

The customer service was perfect. The lady in charge is very kind and helpful. We had to carry the luggage to the 3rd floor by stairs. There is no elevator.

Estivemos alojados num quarto triplo, para festejar o S.João no Porto e o Aniverssário da minha Mãe. A localização é excelente, fica pertissimo das Fontainhas e de todos os pontos festivos na realidade. Apesar de tão perto das festividades, não se ouvia nada nos quartos e ainda era possivél ver um pouco do fogo de artificio no quarto. O que mais adoramos na nossa estadia foi conhecer a amável, sorridente, profissional... Dona Rosa, que é a recepcionista e cuidadora do espaço. Inicialmente não avisei sobre o aniverssário da minha Mãe, mas ela tratou de fazer um miminho como surpresa. Maravilhosa. Voltaremos de certeza e recomendamos.

Bed bugs. Water damage Peeling paint Horrible and filthy toilet Stained sheets Stained towels NO HEAT IN THE ROOM. ON TNE FIRST NIGHT, THEY GAVE US A SPACE HEATER FOR THE SECOND NIGHT Cracks in the wall Broken furniture.

This should not be called a hotel … more of a hostel… Location is great, Rosa the receptionist/ room attendant/ property manager is great but prepare your google translate… Shower needs MAJOR upgrade No elevator so have some workout prior to your arrival

The location was perfect. It is a little difficult to find, but the location could not have been better! When you arrive, you cannot just walk into the lobby. You must ring a bell outside and wait for someone to allow you in for check in. Very safe and secure! Breakfast was not included.

I am not kidding - Bathtub was ~3-3.5 feet long by 1-1.5 feet wide and a foot deep. And that is the shower as well.

Location Toilet didn’t work

Didn’t get there as they sent me an email on day of arrival saying they were over booked. Claim our booking wasn’t in their system but had acknowledged payment of took a week before we travelled there. Replacement hotel they arranged and said was 3 minutes away. It was in fact about a 40 minute walk away on the other side of the river which was totally unsuitable location as we had booked in the centre of the city. The honesty of the staff as they’d clearly lied to us.

From check in to leaving, everything was perfect. The room was very quiet - for a city centre hotel that is a bonus, also very comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city centre. In my view, the hotel was perfect. Nothing could have improved my stay

The staff was very helpful and gave us some indications to better enjoy our stay in Porto. The bath/shower was clean and functional, however tiny and outdated, the splash curtain would stick to your body constantly due to the lack of space and taking a bath was not an option.

Was not far away from the city center It’s was very noisy - from the others rooms and from the street

Great location, comfortable beds and very clean The only problem was the noise from the street, the walls are super thin and during the night it is very loud.

Great central position in Porto

The Royal Porto City hotel is in city center downtown and close to many historical buildings. The room was very clean and comfortable.
