Neat cozy apartments, terrific thermal swimming pool, no sea-view but big old fur-trees and nitinghale singing totally make for it, good solid breakfast. There was no iron or ironing desk in the room and as I arrived later in the evening I didn't manage to get one.

This was 4th year in a row we came to this hotel for Easter weekend. It is always great time. Nice, clean hotel, very friendly and proffesional stuff. Big family room, well equiped. Fair price for the service you are getting. We noticed, that the food for half board was little bit more poor this tear. The chef for fresh foor was missing during the dinners, also on Easter Sunday, there used to be live music during breakfast that was missing this year.

Perfect location for staying in Portoroz, very convenient bed. Sauna costs too much. The hotel could pay the bigger part of the price.

Location, room, breakfast, personnel are all great. The thermal spa is great but it's absolutely overcrowded in the afternoon. I can't understand why don't they just stop selling daily visitor tickets during the pick hours. We arrived at 15:00 and had to leave the spa at around 16:15 as it was not comfortable already. People were just staying and waiting everywhere. Too much noise, no tranquility, no comfortable social distance.

Salt water in the pools. 1-1 pool per wellness centre (in the connected hotels) could have been warmer with 2-3 degree celsius..

Beautiful place directly on the seaside. Big comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Entrance to the thermal pool via hotel possible

The beach location on the grass is a nice setup for tanning. Very comfortable. Where to begin: -No help from staff in carrying luggage of my elderly in-laws. -12€/day parking on a separate lot and you have to drive it there yourself. -Hotel air conditioning is atrocious. My wife and I had 2 sleepless nights because the room temperature was 27 degrees despite cranking the AC and having the staff check it twice. -Every single thing is an extra fee: just opening the bathrobe is 6€ (not kidding), beach towels are €6/per, beach chairs are €12/per, and spa is also not included. -Breakfast selection was vast, but quality suffered. The porridge was cold, the yogurt was liquid due to being left out. The coffee machine doesn’t work correctly. -The staff were generally okay, but borderline apathetic to most issues. They have no clout or prestige with the local taxi companies, as I reserved a cab through them for a dinner reservation in Piran, which arrived 30 min later despite booking 3 hours prior. -I don’t want this to seem like a hatchet job, as you see I generally give positive reviews. The main issue here that tourists and families need to watch out for is VALUE. None of the above gripes would be listed (except AC) if this was an affordable hotel, but they charge exorbitant prices when you factor in all the incidentals. Because nothing is included, you are better off going next door to Kempinski Portoroz for a spectacular experience
