They didn’t have their cabanas as shown on the website setup near the beach. This is ultimately why we booked here. It was pretty disappointing and should have been noted when we booked. The value without this is not worth it.

We felt pampered at the Hotel Palace Portoroz. Service was kind and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was sensational with options for every palate. The vegan croissants were the best I've ever had (and I'm not vegan). We came in by bus so the location was great - very near the bus stop. The only thing I didn't like was that our stay was only for one night. We'll be back!

The property is beautiful, offering old-world charm and all the current amenities of a luxury resort. The service was on point, never missing a chance to meet our needs, from car service to restaurant and local shop recommendations. Our experience exceeded our expectations. We will be back. Location, hotel design/architecture, athmosphere Some days the staff at breakfast was understaffed (compared to the number of people) , they didn't have time to replenish. and a small observation: some guests (Asian) took the breakfast buffet as a takeaway (for example, to fill thermoses with drinks...), which should not happen in such a 5*hotel.
