Breakfast location was great, however the food was cold and not very inviting. Hot water was only ever lukewarm We arrived 1 1/2 hours prior to check in and had to wait for our room. A lot of motels will allow early entry so this was disappointing. When asked about maps from the reception, none could be found.

The location is great, the pool on the roof is a nice plus especially to relax after a full day of visit in this sunny city, and the view from it is beautiful. The room is quite spacious although some maintenance could be done (stain in the couch and in the shower) I had a very unpleasant experience at the check in due to the fact that I didn’t have a credit card and the night receptionist refuse to use the card provided via booking. It’s the first time in all my travels that I’m confronted to this issue. The receptionist kept insisting on saying that the confirmation mentions the deposit instead of finding a solution. There was not the problem ! I never refused to pay a deposit, nor dismiss the fact that it was mentioned in the reservation. I just didn’t understand why they couldn’t use the card that was provided when booking online. They sent me out into the streets at 23h, at night, in an unknown city to find an ATM. As a solo woman traveller who didn’t know the city I felt very vulnerable. When I couldn’t find an ATM near the hotel, the receptionist arrogantly remarked that it was "however very easy" and just at the metro, as if it were obvious but that I was not smart enough to understand, despite me being not familiar with the area. The lack of understanding and the dismissive and apathetic attitude of the night receptionist made me feel unsafe and unwelcomed. Fortunately, the day receptionist was far more helpful and we solve the issue smoothly. But the first impression was so bad that it stained negatively by opinion of the hotel.

It was a very good location and the place is good for the price. The staff is nice and the rooms are really good. The AC was not cooling properly as it took longer to feel the room fresh in the due we went on summer.
