Solace Hotel Santiago

I like the location. It's in a nice neighborhood. The smell. Unfortunately there was a very terrible sewage smell in my room. I informed the staff about it. When I asked if I could switch rooms, one of the ladies at the front desk flat out told me that the housekeeper said there wasn't a smell. Due to being dismissed, I wouldn't stay here again.

Room is big and modern. Comfortable bed and really nice bedding. Breakfast spread is generous and delicious. The pool area is a great place to relax with a Chilean wine The shower is really outdated and needs an update. There is mould in the seals which could be fixed.

I loved the quiet little area this hotel is situated in. Our room was wonderfully comfortable and quiet, making it a great place to relax. The staff were also incredibly friendly and always happy to help. It is located a few blocks away from the main shopping district. However, this really wasn't a big issue for us since there are still plenty of fantastic restaurants right around the hotel.

Close to main attractions, quiet street, good breakfast and around the clock coffee station. I bit outdated.

The bathroom have a little smell of mildew

Rooftop pool was the absolute highlight of this hotel. Our room was good and bed was very comfortable. It was a bit far from center but Ubers are plentiful and cheap.

Great modern hotel in one of the best areas in Santiago. We enjoyed our stay at the Solace Hotel in Santiago. Fantastic location 5 minute walk from L1 subway station and a 17 minute walk to the gondola to get to El Cerro San Cristobal. Great restaurants and bars in walking distance. We also enjoyed the pool deck especially during sunsets. Free coffee, tea and water all day. They also serve a great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Not really

Beautiful location, steps from the metro, and a fun rooftop bar and restaurant Food in the main floor buffet was great, but the rooftop restaurant food (including room service) was inconsistent and often cold.

We are back at the hotel Solace for a 5th stay. Our go to place when in Santiago. Great service with very helpful and friendly staff. The airport transfers or city transfers organized by the hotel are very reliable and professional. The breakfast buffet is excellent with several breads, cheeses, cold cuts and fresh juice, among other cold and hot choices. The room is nice, spacious and bright. It's always great to go chill out at the rooftop bar upstairs next to the swimming pool. Hotel Solace is excellently located in Providencia and in a quiet area. We'll be certainly coming back again when we come back to Santiago. None

Location, room size, amenities Bathrooms need updating, see damp damage near showers. Hot water issues. Really mediocre experience in restaurant - had been several times previously, always good. This time, too many menu items unavailable, problems with ordering and timing of delivery; server attitude. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT…

A lovely hotel near just about everything I needed. I ate at the hotel most evenings and had wonderful dishes and perfect service on the roof top restaurant/pool. For some reason I failed to include breakfast, which was too bad because it looked delicious but not sure if it was worth $20 as I was charged. My room was on the smaller size and that worked for me as I was rarely in it! The only problem I had was getting the safe fixed. We had a communication breakdown with the front desk and super. I received a great rate here on Booking.com so was able to book for the night before as I landed at 5am! I was tired and did not want to wait for normal check in. This was a good decision. I would reccomend the Solace Hotel to anyone. I especially recommend for solo travelers as I was. The area was safe with easy access to the main street area, which had a plethora of shops and restauarants. I was within walking distance to sights or bus transport. It was exactly as pictured on the website
