Villas Salinas de Matagorda

Host - Carolina was amazing. We had small issue where the previous occupants smoked in the villa, leaving a stale smell. When reported to host, she (with staff) removed and cleaned all the curtains, sofa covers and triple cleaned everything. Location was great, near walking area and beach. Pool area, outdoor seating, sun umbrella & sunbeds provided. Bed comfy (although small 4'6, would prefer a bit bigger). A bit dated.

The 3 bed villa was excellent. It was really clean and had everything you would need. It's in a great location close to bars restaurants and shops. Carolina at reception and all other staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They couldn't have done more for us. We will definitely be coming back for another visit.

Villa was located close to the beach, shops and mini market. Heated pool. The sitting room sofa should be little bit bigger as for family of 4 people was to small. Oven needs to be replaced, as its already wear and tear.

We have just returned from a stay at villa 15 and had a wonderful time with our daughter and two granddaughters. It really is a home from home with absolutely everything you need. Carolina is a credit to salinas. We had a problem with the washing machine and she was straight out to change it even though it was a Sunday and the office was closed. Such a lovely lady.. there are plenty of places to eat and lovely beaches but my grandchildren were happy mostly in the pool. It was so relaxing and we didn’t want to come home and would definitely return so thank you villa salinas u till the next time.. x I can’t think of even one thing.

Clean, spacious and close to bars and beach Nothing

Beautiful villa. Very clean. Plenty of room. Everything you could want. Pool was such a luxury. Kids loved it. Close to all local shops, bars and restaurants. Carolina a most friendly and welcoming host. Thank you Villas Salinas for a fantastic stay. Nothing negative to say about the property. There is a slight incline when you walk back up to the property but nothing too major.

The villa complex is set in the quiet area of Matagorda just outside Puerto del Carmen. It is a short 10min drive from the airport to the villa and a short 10min drive from the villa to the hustle and bustle of Puerto del Carmen (or a pleasant 1hr walk along the coast). The two bedroomed villa we stayed in was spot on. It was spacious, clean and all the furniture, fixtures and fittings were of a good standard. The enclosed outside area was big enough for what we needed, with a small pool (that we kept covered as much as possible due to the cooler Oct/Nov nights), sun loungers and table/chairs. Carolina, the host was just the best! She greeted us on arrival and welcomed us into her office for a chat about the villa and the local area. She was super helpful and informative. There are small supremarkets within a 5min walk with local restaurants, bars and shops along the local beachfront if you don't want to venture into the busier area of Puerto del Carmen. All in all, a great little getaway for some winter sun"
