The property itself is beautiful. Right from the beginning there were issues. We booked multiple rooms and requested 2 beds in each room. they gave us king beds so that 2 separate adults had to sleep together. The property is very old and we had multiple incidences. We came back one night to find the room infested with bugs in the luggage, bed and throughout the room. The room was changed and that room had rust flowing from the bathroom pipes. The room was changed again and that room had water leaking from the bathroom light above the bathtub. My daughters went through 3 different room assignments. My room lost hot water multiple times and the bathtub would pool up while showering. another of the rooms we had did not have a working toilet 2 of the days. A fourth room had plumbing issues as well. The hot and cold water could not run at the same time because water would come out of the shower and faucet at the same time making it impossible to use the bathtub. The pictures do not match the actual rooms. Paid an upgrade and did not have the features mentioned in the pictures.

The actual lobby was nice and spacious. The ocean view was nice. The turtles in the ponds were nice. The food was awful. Our shower in our room was broken and sounded like it would explode. Exposed electrical in our room. Not great customer service I’m still waiting to hear from the after we checked out 2 days ago.

Excellent buffet & dining options - delicious food! Wonderful activities provided by lovely staff at the pool! Friendly & helpful staff The shower in our room (brown water) Our room was dated, but I believe they are planning to update the rooms

Staff was exceptionally kind, room was spacious and comfortable, pool was wonderful and clean, garden was beautiful, beach was nice for swimming. There was smell of mold in the room and the music at the pool was too loud.

The staff is very nice, and the breakfast a la cart is alot better if you paid for the higher guest level. I was deeply disappointed with my recent stay. I traveled with my mother, sister, and grandmother, hoping to enjoy some much-needed bonding time, but instead we were left feeling uncomfortable throughout our visit. The beds were extremely hard, the sheets felt rough and irritating, and the facilities were poorly maintained and dirty. The food was another major letdown: the buffet offered very limited options and was of poor quality. The only decent meals we had were at the specialty restaurants, and only after securing reservations. The snack bar by the pool had no vegetarian or healthy options at all. On top of that, the plates were often dirty and the bar itself had an unpleasant smell. Ongoing renovations meant we were woken up early every morning by construction noise, which is unacceptable during a vacation. There was constant noise around the pool area due to loud music and activities, so this is definitely not a resort for anyone looking to rest or relax. During our stay, I had to change rooms three times due to various issues, and I overheard several other guests experiencing the same problems. Overall, this stay fell far below expectations and I would not recommend this resort.

More información about the place it was our fist time there and they didn’t explain how things worked. They didn’t offer drinks I had to ask for them when I was checking in.

The staff it’s very friendly and the food was very good

All inclusive for premium guests. Gives access to alternative restaurants in the morning while the main restaurant is only for non-premium guests which may have long queues Kayak Spa Loved the balcony with ocean view Good for a long stay with nothing to worry about The food in the pool area is more like fast food. Sometimes facilities can be dirty specially in pool areas. Location is far from Vallarta downtown, but uber can get your there

The property is beautiful. It was easy to find our way around the grounds. The employees were incredibly hospitable and genuine people. We went for our honeymoon, and enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea. Beachfront was exactly what we wanted! The room was clean & housekeeping did a wonderful job daily. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great! This was our first time at an all inclusive & we felt the value for food and drink was good. We thought the variety of food was also great, we preferred sitting down at the restaurants and ordering from menu but the buffet had lots of delicious options and different options every day. We had a perfect couples massage at the spa, and steam room session. We will 100% be back to visit as this is officially a special place in our hearts. When we left the resort we took affordable Ubers to explore other beaches and areas. Even the Ubers will drive right up to the main entrance though it is a gated drive!

We came to Melia for two nights to celebrate birthday of my little son. At check in there was a big line of people waiting for check in. And one of the managers from reception noticed that I was waiting with a little one, invited us to kinda premium guest office for express check in! I really appreciated that kind of attention and service! During our short stay everything was amazing, service exceeded all my expectations. Room was clean and spacious, cleaning service great, big choice of food in restaurants and very affordable price for room service

The room was a good size Wish they would change pool table snacks every day. And restaurant time for buffet more time

I really liked the size of the room and bathroom, it was very comfortable for my family of 4. I also liked that they had our bathroom fully stocked with extra towels. People who worked in the restaurants, and at the buffer were extreamly nice and hard working. When we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes after 3pm to get our room key when we had already been checked in, our luggage was NOT brought up to our room so my husband had to go downstairs and asked. Someone from reception told him that everyone was busy because they were hosting a wedding which we understand if staff is busy but that was not the way to respond because just how those people paid for service so did we. My husband had to bring all our luggage by himself up to the room. Breakfast is mediocre absolutely no taste , weird options to eat for breakfast, chilaquiles were so water down with no taste, is like if the tortillas had been dripped in water. Lastly the all inclusive drinks (super water down , my beer tasted like water )
