Employees are so nice and helpful. The shows are amazing. Thank you for everything ?

The place is beautiful, the pools The staff is always annoyed, the people with the transport carts never want to do the job, and the waiters are rude when they serve you.

I would like to thank Felipe for all his help with restaurant reservations and arranging late checkout!

I had a great stay at Meliá Caribe Beach Resort. Everything was excellent overall — the food was amazing, and the place itself is absolutely beautiful. However, the reception service could be improved. I felt the staff was not well prepared to explain the facilities, what activities were available, where to go, or what was included in the all-inclusive package. I ended up having to figure everything out on my own, without much guidance.

Restaurant food was below average. The open half wall between the bathroom and bedroom. Having to get out very early to get a pool chair. Check-in was terrible. Had to stand in line over an hour to get waited on.

The beach Review — Meliá Caribe Beach Resort ⭐ 1/5 — Overpriced, Understaffed, and Unsafe in Emergencies The price point of this resort does not reflect the quality of service you receive — not even close. After 5 nights, it became clear that the root of the problem is systemic: workers are reportedly paid as little as $12/day, and it shows — not because the staff are bad people, but because they are visibly overworked, underpaid, and demoralized. I personally witnessed supervisors berating and pressuring employees, which explains the joyless, reluctant service guests receive in return. You feel like every request is an inconvenience. Housekeeping never once changed my sheets during my entire 5-day stay. The resort is enormous, and the golf carts meant to transport guests are unreliable — they don’t stop when flagged, offer no guidance, and drivers seem checked out entirely. The most serious concern: if you have a medical emergency, you are on your own. Getting any meaningful help is nearly impossible. The pharmacy the hotel itself recommends is predatory — I paid $80 USD for 4 Pedialytes. If you or a family member gets sick, the lack of support is not just frustrating, it’s genuinely frightening. The beach is beautiful, I’ll give it that — but it is heavily covered in sargassum seaweed, which significantly limits enjoyment. This is a resort that profits from a gorgeous location while failing its guests and exploiting its workers. I will not return and cannot recommend it to anyone.

The staff are very friendly but not always very efficient The beach and pool are beautiful and the staff make every effort to keep it clean The massage wad amazing The room is huge and the beds were very comfortable Special requests were answered promptly Let’s begin with the food: that is completely subpar for a five star property Quality is low as is the cooking Hardly any healthy choices (only Frosted Flakes!!?) and fruit do not taste well How come a hotel in the middle of a coconut grove doesn’t offer fresh coconut? We ended up sustaining on french fries and vegetables cucumbers and carrots most days Incredibly there is no high quality coffee machine on the whole property so I drank really bad coffee all week The breads and cakes feel industrial But the worst was that everywhere there is loud music: every meal, at the beach and pool you are bombarded acoustically constantly which gives the place a loud and cheap feel We will not be back

Extremely friendly staff and clean facilities Nothing

The beaches are so beautiful, all of the employees was super friendly, The buffet for lunch the food was not to good, Also we couldn’t get reservations for the steak restaurant, the room didn’t have lotion.
-
The areas, but the food wasn’t that great.

This resort is very clean and has very nice amenities the pools beautiful the waterpark is amazing for kids and the beach is gorgeous We did not like that we could not get reservations for dinner. We would go to a restaurant and noticed that it was only half full. We also did not like the fighting over the beach chairs each day. The hotel needs to get more staff so that they can open the restaurants and fill them up for the four hours they’re open. They need to get more chairs so that people aren’t fighting over the chairs on the beach and the pool.

The resort could use more English speaking staff, and the food in the buffet was always cold. Restaurants on the resort never had any availability, what's the point of advertising if I can't walk-in?

It was very pretty They gave us our second room hours after check in which caused us to not be able to request a reservation for our whole stay because we didn’t have a room number, by the time we got it everything was full. The mini bar that was supposed to be restocked every day wasn’t stocked until the night before we left.

The sea proximity Didn’t put water in the room
