The location is great if you are looking to stay in the historic district. This place has not parking but there is 24 hrs public parking around the corner. As the house is old, the room has this particular smell to older residents.

Historical amazing and stunning hotel! Everything was perfect!

History, location, comfort, ambiance. It was exactly what we had hoped. We had one of the suites and it was stunning. Nothing

Historic building. Convenient location, walkable to all in Centro. Nothing

Beautiful historic building in the old center of town. Churches, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Quiet surroundings at night and air conditioned rooms. The hot water took a long time to reach the room but the staff was very kind and helped resolve the issue

This is a review for the small room on the third floor- I think it’s called Santa Maria? Absolutely beautiful and iconic hotel..really special to stay in such a historical place surrounded by the incredible Baroque architecture..The bed comfortable, bathtub was nice to have, breakfast was excellent. The staff was amazing as they compensated me for an uncomfortable room. When I booked the room, the listing clearly stated “ air conditioning” and “ breakfast included” .. this is what I saw when scrolling through available listings in Queretaro.. I clicked on it and decided to treat myself to such a special stay. When I arrived, I saw the air conditioning controls on the wall then I went out. I came back around 9pm and went to turn on the air, but it didn’t work. The room was sweltering. There were only two tiny windows that opened onto an adjacent rooftop. I turned on the fan but it made a horrible screeching noise. There was no phone in the room so I had to go all the way down to reception. I was given a new fan and told that “ this is the only room at the hotel that does not have air conditioning” .. It was very hard to sleep. The next morning, when I went down to breakfast, they said “ breakfast is not included with your room”..But they gave me the free breakfast fast anyway to compensate for the uncomfortable room. For $150 USD a night, in such a legendary location, why wouldn’t the property include breakfast in every room? Why just the “ presidential suites”, and why isn’t this clearly stated in the listing?

Hotel was beautiful but extremely disfunctional. Good location There was absolutely no working WIFI in our room and barely any at the entire hotel for our entire 4 day stay. Our TV only worked intermittently. The GFI outlet in the bathroom was broken which is a safety hazard, so the hair dryer didn't work. The bath/shower was a safety nightmare. No elevator. Breakfast was not included, even though Booking.com said it would be.

Things were a bit run down. Our shower and sink fixtures leaked and didn't work well

Location is convenient to many nice restaurants and plazas. As many reviewers have said, the hotel itself is charming, but the staff are terrible. No welcoming attitude or hospitality.
-
The restaurant service was very bad, coffee was cold , it took about 2 hrs to get out breakfast putting us behind schedule,

Locations is great ! Very comfortable bed. The food is really good. Most of the people working there are very nice. Ricardo plays the piano beautifully. Nothing

The fact that it's a historical site and that its centrally located. We rented the Marquesa's room. We were swarmed by mosquitoes all night long despite having all three terrace doors shuttered. My wife woke up with bites all over her arms and our 5 month old baby was bitten all over her neck and face. I had a few myself. We covered up with the blankets as best we could. We also turned up the air conditioner to reduce the mosquito activity. This prevented things from being worse than they were. We survived, but it certainly wasn't expected and kept us from enjoying our stay as much as we might have otherwise.

The hotel is gorgeous. It's actually a spot where tourists take photos from outside. Very nice, helpful staff. Comfortable beds, big bathroom. Location is right in the middle of the city There are a couple of issues preventing me from giving a perfect score: no air conditioning, there's a fan in the room but when temperatures outside reach 90 degrees it's not enough. Only one power outlet on each side of the bed. You can either connect the lamp or your phone. In these times it's inconvenient.

It’s such an experience spending a night in this iconic building.

Breakfast was not included, but available as a separate charge. You have to pay for any meals individually - they cannot be charged to your room. The breakfast menu offered a good selection at reasonable prices, and the portion sizes were ample. Breakfasts were enhanced by live piano music starting at 9 AM. Coffee service and refills were sometimes slow.

Beautiful historical building. We enjoyed the piano music in the morning. Walkable, friendly staff, safe area.spacious bedroom with comfortable bed,

room size was great, above my expectations, the restroom is not the very modern approach, which fits into the hotel concept. Its close to the city center, near everywhere, and easy to find a spot for lunch around
