Thunderbird Lodge in Riverside

Bad experience. The first room they put me in had a broken AC. Front desk didn’t believe me. They checked and put me in a second room that smelled like cleaning chemicals. I asked to try another room she said she would rather refund me but it was late at night I insisted on trying another room. The last room she put me in was dirty and she had to bring me towels because the room didn’t have them. The bed was indented in the middle I had to sleep on the edge where it was firm . Pillows were yellow and black and the sheets didn’t smell clean. The microwave is from the 80s or something and smelled weird and toxic and didn’t work when I turned it on. I had to go to the front desk and they were rude and said they were doing me a favor by letting me use anotjer broken microwave that didn’t rotate in another room. The pool and jacuzzi were not open for use and had no water in either. On top of being a terrible place to stay, the staff were awful and lazy too. The only good thing was that there was enough parking.

The hotel was nice. When we got there, check in was easy. The staff members were nice, I checked in late so I only spoke with one person, and during check out the manager or employee was attentive even though she was having to do other work. The room was clean and neat. I was pleasantly surprised by the space in the room. Parking is easy cause the its a small lot. Definitey part of my list as far as hotels to stay in while in the area.

I only stayed one night but the room was immaculately clean, and the bed was very comfortable.The staff was helpful , professional and friendly. I would certainly stay there again!

Our room did not have a well functioning AC. It was really hot throughout the night that I decided to leave before morning .

I liked how close it is to the Amtrak train station My room was dirty. There was hair in the shower, dust on the floor. The coffee machine was dirty and my room did not have a refrigerator. The staff got my reservation mixed up and told me my check out time was earlier than what I reserved. Luckily I took a screenshot of my reservation to be able to show them that they were wrong and that I reserved the room for 3 days and 2 nights. Also my room key card stopped working.

Very clean rooms staff very friendly

The staff was really nice, very nice location. Nothing major that I disliked, I just wished the air conditioning would work a little better. I had it on cool and it was at 62 and the room felt warm, mind you being a hot day now a days. That was the only small thing.

I booked this hotel expecting to experience something close to the 7/10 the booking website gave it; something akin to a Comfort Inn, or a Best Western. Although booking was easy and staff were super nice, the actual quality of the hotel left something to be desired. The "non smoking" room had stains and cigarette burns on the bedspread (I wouldnt even call them comfortors), the toilet was the size you would expect in a preschool classroom, someone else's used items were left in the mini fridge, etc. We only needed to stay one night, long enough to get a few hours of sleep before we got back on the road so it wasnt so terrible that we left, but I would not consider staying there again. The room was clean (smelled of cleaning supplies) , the AC was cold, and no bugs or anything like that, thus my 3 star rating. Definitely could have been worse, but also definitely didn't meet the expectations of a 7/10 rated hotel and not worth the price we paid for one night.

Mattress was out of a horror movie, it had yellow, black,red,brown etc. stains. A lot of hair debris on the sheets and bathroom. It had an odd smell. We had to relocate to a less filthy room, worse hotel experience I ever had.

Room was not what I paid for . The tv remote was not even the correct remote. Blood stains on shower curtain. Also the restroom door was broke and did not shut.
