Property was under construction which should be listed in ad. Overall room was clean, staff were friendly but had trouble looking up my room

Property was clean and safe, but I’m not certain it was worth the $750 price tag for 3 nights. But that was the going rate everywhere. Positive: very attentive staff, very clean rooms, great bed and pillows. Bean-to-coffee dispenser in the adjoining breakfast room, which had very nice tables and seating areas for the non-breakfast times. Air conditioning in the room worked great. Negative: breakfast was mediocre at best. Some good danish and yogurts, but the hot stuff was not worth eating. My room was not cleaned the first day I was there. Very surprised when I opened the door, having left at 11:30 AM. The second day they put a note on the door at 11 saying that I missed the cleaning hours and to contact the front desk if I still wanted a cleaning. Thought that was odd. First floor was quite noisy all three mornings due to the adjacent staff facilities. Yeah, I would stay there again, but certainly not for that price.

The amenities were nice and it is a pocket friendly hotel.. however the saying “you get what you pay for” applies here. The smell as soon as you walk in is that of mold and smoke. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the smell of that floor was atrocious. It is humid and when you do turn the air on the smell that emits from the AC is also putrid. Carpets were dirty. Bathtub looked as if it had not been cleaned in months. The bedding and towels were stained and dirty. 10/10 do not recommend. What I will say is the man who checked us in was super helpful as they honored a reservation very late/early in the morning. He was able to navigate all the problems in that and do us the service of getting in the room. Shout out to him and his brother (Ricardo) I believe.

The room was nice and clean and the breakfast was great

Was out in a room with the AC broke. Come to find out someone else was already put in that room earlier in the day and complained that the AC was broke. Then got downgraded to a room with two queen size beds. At least it had working AC. The staff was great and the food was ok.

Clean room and bed, helpful staff. Its a smaller place with smaller rooms, cramped toilet/shower room, sink outside that area. Small windows, mine viewing a very close busy 4 lane Blvd. Many food options across the street. Starbucks, etc. Ceiling in room low. Was not as nice as other HD express hotels. Parking lot kind of grungy. Close to a freeway... okay for fast on and off travel. Not much else though.

We spent 3 nights the first morning housekeeping came early morning that was the last time we saw them. TV remote didn't work, Nothing was refilled the entire time. I had to ask for clean towels. We arrived around 1130 PM and asked if they had a soda machine or somewhere we could purchase soda. I was told in the cooler. I walked to the cooler removed two 12 ounce cans of coke and asked how much they were. The gentleman said $4.00 I handed him a $5 dollar bill he laughed and said no they are $4.00 each. I paid for the soda and went to our room. The pass key did not work we had to go back to the desk every day and have the door pass keys reset. I was not told there would be a $100.00 charge on my charge card because I booked with Hotels com. The staff said if I didn't use incidentals it would be returned in around 48 hours because my card didn't match the card used to book and pay for the room. The breakfast was very nice and the area kept nice and clean. I will definitely rethink my decision the next time I book a hotel.
