Great location; eats, walks, shopping. You can walk to "Claws" but we drove. A balcony with a view in it's own

They continue to renovate the hotel, making small improvements along the way. Went to Hotels.com for reservation. When we got to hotel, our confirmed room was not what we asked for, after some time with desk person who did her best but was not able to do much, manager came in and made a switch with us. Cont. breakfast was weak. Can't beat the location, a great spot.

The front desk was very unfriendly and unresponsive. The breakfast was very minimal, at best. The hallways were dirty. I certainly would not come back.

Breakfast was the worse free breakfast I've ever had. Bagel was stale and had to ask for cream cheese. They put out a block on the table and had everyone taking from it. Gross. No OJ, just apple juice. Also lights in bathroom did not work, then realized that there were no bulbs in it.

Tv blurry. I was on second floor 1 floor above me. Very loud footsteps

When we walked into the room, it was absolutely nothing like the pics on the website. Very old n outdated. I opened the frig to put my meds inside and there was a left over fish dinner sitting in the there. The smell and odor was sooooo terrible it permeated the entire room. We had to run out. There was no way we could stay in that offensive smelling room. Obviously the cleaning crew didn’t clean out the mini frig. We immediately went to front desk telling them what is happening and they said they will clean the frig. Noooo Thank you. They were booked so we couldn’t change rooms. Clerk said mgr not on premises and we would have to wait til next day to get permission for a credit. Needless to say, we pushed the issue and made them call mgt and demanded an instant refund. They did and we had to drive an hour inland to find vacancy anywhere

If you need a bed. Theres a bed. Also possibly bed bugs.
-
What breakfast? Needs improvement on that

My openion is this place just doesn't care about you and it shows. Our matresses should have been replaced years ago.

We personally would not stay here again. Our room had an odor and was not clean. We never had access to internet in our room , no one seemed to care. It was really hard to even get a few pieces of Ice out of the ice machine. The beds were horribly uncomfortable, we couldn’t sleep. The TV, it would work one minute and fade out the next..we were on vacation and decided to not to pursue wasting time on all of the issues , just not going back.

Liked the area. Clean Room.

We've stayed several times at this hotel in the past, its an inexpensive place to lay your head in rockland for the night.
-
Wifi isn't the best.
-
No ice, was told we could check if Walgreens sells ice. Also was told manager would respond, they didn’t.

Breakfast. Choices were limited. Room and bathroom were clean. The floor in the elevator was not,
-
The rooms were nice and clean. Staff was helpful. Breakfast is very light continental. The harbor view was good.
-
Nice. Easy walking to shops and Park Street Grill across the street with great food and music

Big problem was there was no hot water at night for a shower. I called the desk and was told they sometimes run out of hot water when a lot of guests use it. This is not something I’ve experienced or expect in the continental US. (I’ve been in other countries where it wouldn’t upset me at all)

Our room looked nothing like the one in the photo. It seemed to have been a modified corridor . No actual window, just a glass door. However perfectly comfortable so I am not seriously complaining.

This hotel is literally right across the street from the Harbor Park and one block from the main downtown area. Their parking policy is great. They have plenty of spots reserved just for hotel residents.
