Holiday Inn Express Rolling Meadows - Schaumburg Area by IHG

I typically stay at Holiday Inn express properties and find them quite nice for the price and the breakfast. This one not so much. It’s just feels old and dingy.

Overall a nice place if you’re staying for just a nice, I enjoyed my breakfast every morning.

Dirty bathroom. No hot water. Stained rug in the room. Rude staff. Not there for it but the pool was closed during August stay.

Mold and peeling paint on the ceiling in the shower, water under the floor vinyl.

Breakfast is using the styrofoam plates that are bad for your health and the environment. Can no longer recommend this place. 5 years ago it was in much better shape

I liked the clean room and the free breakfast. The eggs were a tad cold, but the sausage was delicious. I loved the coffee; it was excellent!

Good vibes for the price

I booked a double bed balcony room, check in is not until 3pm, I got there at 4pm. They had no double bed rooms as all. No balcony rooms at all. Offered me only to take one roll away bed for four adults, or cancel my reservation.

Extremely rude people. Would never book with company again after canceling my room with no advance notice.

I would highly advise state at this property. The room smelled awful and I was stuck in it because they were booked and will not change me out. I’ve taken pictures of the events that were pushing out a nasty smell. I ended up developing sinusitis and had to get an antibiotic. I am contacting American Express to dispute the charges for this stay. Please find another hotel. This one’s terrible.

Verty dirty, pool probably hasn't been opened in years. It is by far the worst maintained and filthy hotel in the Holiday Inn chain. Pictures on their website have to of been taken 15 years ago. We checked out a day early for a better hotel

It was just ok. A bit dated

I would probably never stay here again but it was ok for the night. When we turned into the property it was a old, abandoned, unkept property that I'm guessing was another hotel. It really gives a horrible first impression of the area. I arrived arouns 3:25pm, and I was told it was busy last night and I would have to wait to check-in, although check in was at 3pm. Another staff member let the lady know at the front desk that there was a room ready and I was allowed to check in at that time, if the lady hadn't been standing there I probably would've waited longer for absolutely no reason. The hotel is dated but was clean. The room was nice, comfy bed and pillows and the breakfast was a 7/10. For the price, it wasn't to bad
