Hotel Teatro Pace
About Hotel Teatro Pace
The Hotel Teatro Pace is surrounded by the artisans' workshops and typical Roman trattorias found in the winding streets around Piazza Navona. It features elegant, uniquely decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. The old theater which gave the street and the hotel its name is set right across from this characteristic property. Piazza Navona is a 2-minute walk away. Decorated in a late Baroque style, the Teatro Pace Hotel is delightful inside and out. Climb up the imposing old stairway, dating back to the 16th-century, to reach your comfortable, beautifully furnished room. All rooms have air conditioning, a Sienna-marble bathroom with a shower, and an electric teakettle with a selection of teas and coffee. Some rooms have wooden-beamed ceilings, and many have a balcony with charming views of the Roman rooftops. A continental breakfast is served each morning in the comfort of your room. It includes sweet and savory food such as pastries, cold cuts and cheeses, and with hot drinks and juices. License Number(s): 058091-ALB-00486

Fantastic location, quick walk to Piazza Navona and countless restaurants, but tucked way just far enough from the touristy streets to be quiet. Nice breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. The bathroom was very dated and didn't smell great.

The location in the city and outdoor space were fantastic Location is perfectly situated. Lots of stairs to get to the room but price paid for a great location.

The AC never went off during a horrible heat wave. That may sound trivial, but it saved me a lot of sleepless nights. I was taking an intensive Italian class, and it was important not to feel miserable when I was concentrating of four tenses of the subjunctive. There were so many wonderful cafes and bistros a few steps from this hotel, so it was easy to get a meal or drink within a few steps. What would have been great is some kind of common area just to relax and sit in an actual chair at an actual table. Also, the TV wouldn't shut off. The receptionist showed me the trick of plugging-unplugging the TV, but it would have been nice for the remote to work.

So close to Piazza Navona. 15 minutes from everywhere. Perfect location. Cool historic building. The staff was very accommodating. AC nice and cold even during a brutal heat wave. Ah, the shower is a bit small and had some mildew.

No elevator, hot water didn’t work for two days.

Clean, quaint and a great location. it was very comfortable and quiet. Close to everything you would need. The amount of stairs to our room.

The location was perfect. There were restaurants and coffee shops everywhere, so finding a great meal was very easy. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. This included the Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, The Pantheon and more. The room, bathroom and closet were very large and comfortable. Carrying our luggage up 3 circular flights of stairs upon arrival after ferries, trains and a full day at the Amalfi Coast made us glad we had done so much walking. We were ready for the challenge.

Location is fabulous. In the heart of Rome with short walks to most attractions.. Only issue was with door locking. It worked, but it was difficult at times . The places was perfect for us outside that issue

The apartment was huge and super comfortable. Amazing location. Best airbnb ever!!!

Clean, bed itself was comfy, good location. Rooms are TINY, and there is NO ELEVATOR. This was the least enjoyable stay of our whole trip due to the fact we could hardly walk around our bed without hitting walls or the bathroom. It was our last night in Rome before flying out and we thought the location would be fun, but not worth the tiny room. We regretted not booking something roomier in Trastevere. If you have accessibility needs, don't stay here.

Only the location The receptionist Isabella was loathe to carry my suitcase two flights up despite the fact I had requested this in advance. I am older and no elevator for the suitcase or to get up

Beautiful hotel. Ideal location. Just a few blocks from the Piazza Navona. Stayed in the junior terrace suite. The view was idyllic. We were able to walk almost everywhere including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and The Vatican City. The stairs! 4 flights of winding stairs that get steeper as you go higher. Not a deal breaker. But just be prepared.

The staff could have been a lot more helpful, specifically the morning receptionist was extremely cold and inhospitable

Great hotel! Amazing location, cozy room, clean, great service. Would come back!

They gave us incorrect address, so it was abit stressful to locate.
-
Great location that is a short walk from everything. Plenty of nearby restaurants and close to the attractions. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The handheld shower head does not have a holder on the wall, making showering a hassle. The small glass pane is not nearly enough to stop water from getting out. There was a rod but no curtain, leading to the bathroom flooding with water. The pillows are very thin and the room can feel small for three people, but it's fine if you will be spending most of your time outside the room.

Location of hotel is perfect. Walkable to all the main places. Staff was super friendly & helpful. Rooms - first room was noisy due to located on street side and near the main staircase of hotel. Toilet did not flush completely. Room was extremely dusty & strong smell of mold which is not good for allergies. AC didn’t work well. We were able to switch rooms after the 1st night and it was an improvement quieter, nicer bathroom & better AC.

The location is very good Our room had no hot water and when we asked the attendant to fix it, she said we can 'shower in the morning' after a technician came. This wasn't good enough so we asked to move rooms but she had us shower only in another room - then she finally allowed us to move to a new room - we had to move all our stuff with soaking wet hair and I almost slipped in the hallway. The walls and ceiling were paper thin and the room next to us had an amourous and VERY loud couple next door - we heard everything, and then the room upstairs had loud people (not obnoxious, but it kept us awake).
