Desk attendant was vey friendly and helpful.

It was quiet and secure with nice and helpful staff. The elevator is very small so it took several trips to get our party of 10 up and down. There were no wash clothes or tissues. Coffee and tea was available at an extra charge.

It was a very pretty and spacious room and the female staff were very kind. The location was great. One night there was an angry, drunk homeless man lying outside the hotel who spat at two women who walked by. I tried to tell the man at the desk but he couldn’t understand English.

The absolute best thing about this hotel is the staff. They were super helpful on numerous occasions. The property is part of a larger building that includes another hotel and some apartments. This hotel is on the top floor which means it has lovely views of the surrounding streets and even the dome of St Peter’s. The downside of being on the top floor is that people who don’t know how to use the elevator often leave a door open meaning you have to walk up six flights of stairs! This isn’t the hotel’s fault and they literally tell you how to close all the doors several times but other guests here just seem clueless. The room itself is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is also a good size and the shower has good water pressure. We stayed in this location for a conference near the Vatican and it was super convenient for that. It’s also close to metro and bus lines so you can basically get anywhere in Rome from nearby. If you need or want to stay in this area, it’s a great option at a reasonable price. The elevator situation is a bit frustrating but again not at all the hotel’s fault. Also this hotel is fairly basic in appearance and amenities but its reasonable price reflects that.

The staff were very informative and kind. Recommended some very yummy food spots. The hotel room was very clean and comfy beds. The air conditioning worked well. The old elevator was very cute and fun! Good area as well, it was nice and quiet. No negatives.

The staff here are always exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and extra sense of security with gated access to the building.

This hotel is in a perfect location if you’re looking to tour the Vatican, Castel Sant Angelo etc.. Lots of great shopping around, great restaurants and gelato places, all within walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful, hotel is very clean and rooms are comfortable with a great view. Would definitely recommend staying here. Nothing.

Good location. Close to eateries. Safe.

The location is very close to vatican, only 10~15 minutes walk. The beds are comfortable; room size is between OK and good; the bathroom size is small, cleanness is OK, but the bath area should have a door or curtain to block the water spillover everywhere. The bathroom should have a door or curtain to prevent water from spilling everywhere. The building lost electricity at 8 PM on our first night and didn’t have it restored until late afternoon the next day—around 6 or 7 PM. This happened in July during a heat wave in Rome. While the owner claimed the power outage was beyond his control, it was unacceptable that the hotel didn’t offer guests the option to move to another property with electricity and air conditioning. Worse, the hotel/owner made no attempt to offer compensation until I repeatedly complained about the extreme room temperature and the fact that we couldn’t charge our cell phones—something especially critical for visitors relying on them for navigation and communication. I had to insist multiple times on being moved to another hotel with functioning air conditioning. In the end, the only compensation offered was two breakfast coupons, each redeemable for just one coffee and one standard croissant. Fortunately, the hotel had initially asked us to pay the city tax in cash at check-in, but I didn’t have enough cash on hand—and this requirement had never been communicated during the booking process. As part of the compensation, they agreed to waive the city tax. I stayed at another hotel at the end of the trip in Rome, and compared to the service and hospitality there, this hotel and its hosts felt more like a 1- or 2-star experience—despite charging more than what you'd typically pay for a 3-star hotel.

Room and bathroom was clean. Location was perfect for us since our main reason was to visit the Vatican. Staff were very helpful. They are very informative about the area. It is a little hard to find the location at first.

New, clean and great location Nothing

  • Engine customer May 2025

Good location for getting to sites, close to Vatican, safe and clean, beds and pillows comfortable On 6th floor with old cage type elevator that could be temperamental - also two gates to enter which require a key after 8 pm. Staff desk 8am to 8 pm although do have phone for other hours.

Very comfortable and clean, the neighbourhood is great and very close to attractions. Unfortunately the water pressure is poor so get ready for a lengthy shower! No iron at the hotel ! so if you are going somewhere needing shirts or trousers to be ironed then you need a plan B!

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

Some occupants were very noisy at night running around the hallway

  • Engine customer Mar 2025

Spacious, well decorated and very clean rooms. Hotel staff is professional and helpful. Very good location, super close to the Vatican and in a nice street full of nice shops for any budget.
