I’d honestly give zero stars solely for the key/lock situation with the building/hotel/room. HOWEVER, the room itself was really nice, the bathroom was modern, the location was good, and the guy at the front desk did a fantastic job giving us a run-through. The building, hotel, and room access are managed through a website. You tap some buttons on your phone to unlock, which… sure… is modern and high-tech. However, last night at 23:00, we couldn’t unlock the main door to the building. We had to ring the neighboring hotel to let us in and ended up waiting outside in the dark longer than was comfortable (again, no fault of any individual, just this key/lock tech system and whoever chose it). I did not feel safe not knowing if the key would work if the power went out, if my phone died, if we didn’t have service, if we could escape in a fire, or if someone could hack the system. As a woman, it worried me how unsafe I would have been if I wasn’t with someone else in the moment we were locked outside. I also wonder how anyone who isn’t tech-savvy would navigate this, such as a slightly older family member. Especially since it all works through a link that was shared with us via WhatsApp. Again, this hotel is in a great location, and the room was cute. But I would consider steering clear if any of the above give you hesitation.

The Cleanliness and the Staff The Bed was toooooo Hard ? The Aircon shuts by itself, they have it already programmed to save energy.

Excellent location that is easily walkable to Monti, The Colosseum, and Trevi Fountain.

This was in a great spot and in the center of all the main attractions. Made it easy to get everywhere around Rome. The room was clean and comfortable.

The location was fantastic. The app to get in and out of the hotel was awesome. The room was beautiful. The staff. Specifically Rocco who ran the front desk and the morning cleaning lady. Despite having a Do Not Disturb sign on our door, there was a loud back-and-forth conversation in the hallway between a staff member and the cleaning lady. I opened the door and politely asked if they could stop, but the noise continued. About an hour later, my husband also asked them to please keep their voices down as we were trying to rest, and the response we received was dismissive and defensive, with comments about the time being 11 o’clock. Being on vacation, I believe it’s reasonable to expect the opportunity to rest without disturbance. Unfortunately, instead of an apology, we were met with frustration, which left us feeling unwelcome and negatively impacted our day. When I explained this to Ilaria, one of the comments she made was, "I was told that the door to your room was left open, so I recommend closing it tightly to avoid any further noise from the hallway." If they noticed that a door was open, but their sign was on. Does that seem normal? Again, being in the hospitality business, I would have made sure that everything was OK. None of this makes sense and their unfriendliness an audacity to yell at my husband is not something that can be justified.

The sound of cars passing by is a bit noisy

The bed was comfortable and necessities were provided. Very bad communication. The app to enter the door was not working. They required cash for the tourist fees after checkout and which wasn’t communicated. They close reception at 7pm which wasn’t communicated.

    Very nice good service

    The room was too small

  • Engine customer May 2025

I can't think of anything I didn't like except the lack of wash cloths in our room. Wasn't a big deal so I didn't bring it up.

how big the room and bathroom was

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

The jacuzzi was my favourite, also the staff were kind enough to allow us to keep our luggage without asking for it. Well cleaned everyday and all facilities were good. Since all access requires you to have a mobile phone with battery, one day my phone died and I was unable to enter the building thanks to the store below who allowed me to charge my phone to 3% at 11pm. I think some arrangement to enter the elevator door with the code should be done just like they give for the room.

The location was pretty good, although beware of hills if walking with a suitcase from Termini. Also, I didn't realize we'd have a round bed. Neither of those would make me not book again, just might help someone to know.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Amazing location. Would highly recommend

The location was absolutely perfect couldn’t get better! We walked to the Trevi fountain, Vatican City, Spanish steps and so much more easily! Reception was great and accessing the hotel/room was seamless. They even let us leave our luggage once we checked out so we could still explore until our flight later on in the evening. Would absolutely stay here again! There is some noise from the street which could affect you if you are a light sleeper luckily we were fine!
