B&B Gelsomina Apartment

The place is very clean. It iis right on Via Ottaviano but you dont hear any noise from the street. The owner was very kind...checking in and asking how things are (via text). Very convenient for all my comings and goings when I visited the nearby churches. I easily attended the 7am daily mass at Saint Anne's by Saint Peter's gates as it was less than half a mile from the place. Excellent location!!! The lights that are sensor-activated can be a little of a hassle especially when coming out of the bathrooms at night. You have to activate the light in the hllway first before you turn off the bathroom light with the switch by the sink otherwise you walk out in the dark. I wish the bathroom switch is right by the door.

Exceptionally clean, quiet, and well located. Shared bathroom was never a problem. Entry information— cellphone vs key vs code — was a bit confusing.

The rooms were very clean and big, lots of room and with a fridge and TV all worked well and the maids came every day to clean and restock the room The bed wasn't the comfortablest, but it was ok ... it was stiff mattress and I had a sore back anyways so it dint help

The accommodation is nice, clean, and comfortable for solo travellers. I appreciate the convenient communication and guidance for check-in. Unfortunately, there was a transportation strike when I arrived, so I had to walk for an hour to get to the place, which was quite far from the top attractions.

A beautiful apartment in a grand 19th century building. The room was very comfortable and was cleaned daily. The location was good as Ottaviano subway station is only a block and half away. There are lots restaurants and shops in the neighborhood, which is somewhat less touristy than those on the other side of the Tiber.

The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The check-in process was streamlined and convenient, especially for guests arriving late evening. The shared bathroom was always kept clean and tidy, as well as restocked with everything you’d need. The complimentary breakfast each morning was also a lovely touch and made us feel so welcome.

Location is perfect, communication is nice and response is fast. Breakfast is very poor considering 2 persons, soundproofing is so week, that starting from 7 am its impossible to sleep, since you will here all noise from the building ?. Room doesn't have shower and toilet inside. Cool water pressure is very low.

I traveled only me,I was afraid not filled my expectations.I really appreciate the care of the staff,anything I need.I felt at home. I like everything,It was everything they offered.Clean,the breakfast and text me to be sure I feel ok or if I need anything.Felt happy and specially secure!.highly recommended

I flew in from Australia and was only in Rome for 2 nights. After long flights this was the perfect place to stay! It was very comfortable and clean, the wifi works great, and the host is very kind and provided everything I needed. I will definitely be staying here again next time i’m in Rome!

Fantastic location close to the metro. The room was spacious and clean, with nice amenities such as the mini fridge. The highlight of this B&B is definitely the host, who was extremely responsive and helpful. No complaints!

Location was amazing right next to the vatican city and the metro. Room was amazing comfy bed and really big. Bathrooms were really good also. Check in was very easy and staff very helpfull

Bed was comfortable, bathroom was always clean, Mattia was lovely and checked in regularly. He even did my washing for me. Also close to a train station, the Vatican, bus stops and plenty of food options.

The breakfast was nice. Mattia cleaned the room everyday. He even washed our clothes one day. The bathroom was shared but always clean. The location is very near the Vatican and you have Metro stations nearby. Nothing in particular but be aware that Rome requires you to pay a tax for staying and also you need to send a photo of your passport.
