Spacious room and very friendly staff. The location is great, close to everything you need such as markets, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Very convenient area. Highly recommended! Non

The owner was very nice and provided useful information about the stay as well as things to see in Rome. My booking was for a smaller room, but since there was a slightly bigger one available, the owner upgraded my stay to that free of charge, which is very appreciated. Good value for money for the location and level of comfort. The key to my room was not the easiest to operate. But after calling the owner he kindly helped me find a way around it.

I thought the location of San Michele a Porta Pia was quite convenient, as there are many amenities for anyone staying at the B&B to access within the surrounding area such as restaurants and pharmacies. In addition, there are many resources inside the B&B that guests are more than welcome to take advantage of, such as an outdoor seating/dining area and a small kitchen. Not only do I consider San Michele to be a lovely place for guests such as myself to reside, but I have also found that the lovely qualities that compose the B&B, such as its tasteful interior design and considerate hosts, to fit in perfectly well with the beautiful streets of Rome. My stay at the B&B was relatively short, so I wasn't able to find any qualities about the B&B that I personally disliked.

The location itself great for me as a backpacker. There are plenty of shops around for if you want to get groceries or if you fancy a late nightcap. The hotel itself was about as good as an average 3-star chain. Bed was comfortable enough. The room that I stayed in had some degree of moldy odor, but it wasn't bad enough to complain about. That said, a thorough-er cleaning would've been appreciated Prices were on the higher side but I think that may have been due to the current events (new Pope).

We left our luggage after check-out and we were also able to use the fridge until the afternoon. The lady who helped us was very friendly and spoke good English, so we had a good communication. There are nice local restaurants nearby. I really liked the neighborhood. We usually walked or took a bus to the center. The room was clean.

The owner was very nice. Good location. The beds were uncomfortable. The cleaning lady came into the room every day to clean, but all that was done was just making the bed, she didn't change the sheets and towels or anything. The refrigerator is shared with everyone.

The neighbourhood was great with lots of restaurants around (we recommend Ristorante Al Padovano if you can't pick, and Bakery Valli for breakfast). The building was nice, the room was adequate and the price was good. The staff came to help us when we dropped our keys down the elevator shaft and were very nice about it. There is outdoor area shown in the photos that we didn't have access to, it also should not be called a b&b as there is no breakfast, it's just a room & shared bathroom & shared fridge in the hallway. The keys (especially to the bathroom) were quite difficult.
