Not enough hot water when taking a shower and not so much kitchen utensils.

Convenient location. 1, very difficult to get hot water, gave to took cold water shower. 2, I communicated with him in English. But the host only spoke Italian. He asked me to use translator to communicate with him in his language. Even said to me, if you come to Italy and Rome, you should speak Italian. This is very rude! If you don’t prefer to speak English, you should have made it very clear in your booking.com introduction. 3, the host also asked me to cancel my booking if I didn’t communicate in his language! But that was after the payment already processed and free cancellation date was over! Why did he ask me to cancel the booking? 4, usually I always receive detailed check in information in advance or on the arrival date. But i didn’t receive any information from the host. I sent a couple of messages to the host at about 7:02pm, which is one and half hour before my estimated arrival time through booking.com and WhatsApp, I didn’t receive any reply! I had to contact booking.com customer service for advice. only after I requested to the host again in Italian then he replied and it was already 8:02pm! I travel around the world since 1988, I have to say this is the first and worst host in term of communication!

Location is close to Rome Tiburtina station. We booked this hotel mainly for the breakfast but they offered a coupon and asked us to take a breakfast at a local bakery 1 km away. They offered only coffee and one add on like croissant. Very disappointed. Also the heating system at the bathroom was not good! Facilities is certainly below average for the money paid!

Great location for the train station into the centre of Rome. The room was very clean and the host was very nice checking us in although he is not on site so you have to wait for him to arrive to let you in. Caos Calmo is essentially a few rooms in an apartment block. Breakfast is somewhere around the corner apparently, we didn't use the vouchers we were given for breakfast due to time. I booked the room with a fancy spa bath, this wasn't very appealing due to the time it would take to fill with water. The water pressure is awful. The shower hose attachment is handheld and broken. The water goes from scalding to freezing. The place is in need of a refurb. The mini fridge just freezes everything and good luck finding any cups for a tea or coffee in the morning. There is also no fire alarm/smoke alarms, surely this should be mandatory in a 'hotel'?

Close to the train station. Breakfast included - for us meant 400m away local bakery with one coffee and 1 croissant.

Everything was perfect for us.

There was not a thing likeable about the property. It was extremely hard to find. The locals around it were not friendly or helpful and actually said they wouldn’t help and sent us in the wrong direction. The room smelt like cat piss. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. You can’t wash your hair in the shower as the shower head is too big for the small shower. They did not inform us with the right codes or right bar “where they left the key” and the bar was closed due to their public holiday which we were also not informed about & the contact number did not answer. Air conditioner, big bathroom Thin walls, the room was too small for 2 people, squeaky bed, no breakfast (even though it was included when we booked the hotel)

Not a lot, Wi-Fi worked. Poor reception from host, had to phone up for them To open up. Very noisy next to main road All on different levels, trip hazards Bed had funny sides making getting in and out difficult Complicated access via lobby, small lift with funny doors, main entrance to building

Nice and clean room with bath in an upscale apartment with use of kitchen, dining room and balcony. For the most part pretty quiet but a rule should be no loud noise after 11pm. Post in common areas
