G&G Trastevere

Great location in Trastevere. Walkable to major attractions within Rome. Owner made helpful videos to explain how to get into the building so no need to arrange a meeting time. Great communication. Big room. The only thing we didn’t like was the shower leaked pretty bad so we had to put down an extra towel to soak that up. Also, drainage in the shower was not great. We would be standing in a pool by the end of a shower. Otherwise great.

OKish budget option for short term stay in Rome.

The room was quite spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Balcony was nice. Great location for night life, pizza, and espresso. Many major buses are in the area including the C3 (Roman Forum), 8 (useful for connecting with 916/115 “rest of Rome”), 115 (Vatican), 125, and H (gets to Termini). You are up on the 6th floor, so unless you really like stairs be prepared for a tight elevator. While this was fine for the most part, one room is doesn’t have a bathroom suite so you do need to jump across the hall anytime you wish to use it. And since the flat is communal, you can run into others staying there. Fairly minor stuff.

We had an amazing stay at G&G Trastevere! The location couldn’t be better – right in the heart of Trastevere, with everything within walking distance but still peaceful and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, respectful, and attentive. Even before our arrival, they reached out via WhatsApp with clear instructions on how to get there and access our room, which made everything so easy and stress-free. Our room was spotless, very clean, and had a lovely balcony where we spent time relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere – such a nice touch! Everything about our stay was perfect from start to finish. We’re already looking forward to coming back here on our next trip. Highly recommended!

Location was good but the aircon in the room was hopeless - needs attending to. Room was small but it was clean. Check in instructions were very good Room was small and aircon did not cool at all. Kettle was missing but the host did find it the following day. There was nothing to place the soap or shampoo on in the shower. Pretty expensive for a 3 night stay

Falsely advertised as a bed and breakfast. There's a small kitchen area where you can make yourself coffee and tea (with your own water of course), but that's not actually a bed and breakfast. Also, it's the first time I've stayed somewhere, where they refused to help me call a taxi. Probably because they offer a shuttle service to the airport where they get commission. Pretty ridiculous honestly.

Check out could be a bit later. If the check in is late, the check out must be late too. If the check out is early, then check in must be earlier too. Now the check in is late anc check out is early, which doesn't make much sense. I didn't need to check in earlier but for those who do, it will make a difference for you.

Good location. Small room

Location ...the Trastavere district is exceptionally close to Rome's main attractions. The connection is excellent. The neighborhood is full of good restaurants, ATM, post office, pharmacy, supermarket and small shops.
