The location was good, just a few blocks from Coliseum in a nice area. The room and bath were very clean and comfortable. The host met us promptly and provided a welcoming check in process. Our ONLY inconvenience was the separate private bath, which required a walk down the hall and use of keys in the night… not quite as handy or quiet as an in room bath. We would recommend this guest house as a budget friendly option and would happily stay again. As mentioned, our only minor complaint was the separate private bath down the hall, requiring keys in the night.

GHB location is ideal, on a major street with easy transportation access, by taxi/private car and bus routes. It has elevator access and the host being very responsive, available for questions and to help as needed. The private room & bath, with very high ceiling, was clean, spacious and has all the amenities for a short stay, private and quiet, air conditioning for warmer weather (did not use, too early as it is early April) and no street noise once the window is closed. There are cafe, restaurants nearby and mini markets on side streets to pickup essentials. We stayed here post-cruise returning from Civitavecchia for 2 nights before taking a taxi to the airport, which was very easy to hail. We also like the system set-up to store our luggage on check-out date (before 10 AM) so that we can still go sightsee & do things; and, return later to pick-up the bags to continue our trip, very helpful for us with late afternoon airport flight - without finding a storage place nearby. The bathroom was spacious, would like to see some more hooks for clothing and/or to hang up towels to dry. The walk-in shower has excellent water flow & temperature control, but the slopped floor can be slippery with soap & shampoo, adding slip-proof strips for safety would be good for all guests staying there. Lighting in the bathroom can be better with newer LED strips that are energy efficient. The room's lightening is adequate but upgrading to inexpensive & brighter LED bulbs would be good. There are a limited number of 220 volts power outlet, adding extensions will be welcomed by travelers with electronics to recharge. These aren't necessary critical comments but rather suggetions & recommendations for the host to consider as investing to further enrich & make the stay an even better one for guests staying there.

Wi-Fi connectivity was sometimes poor.

The place is so tidy and cozy , the most of time calm, everything clean , with so lovely freindly stuff. The location is perfect and nearby the important touristic places and the Metro station. I highly recommend it and would like to stay there again on my next trip to Rome!

The room was clean and daily room service. When the window is open, it was quite noisy because Merulana is a main street.

Additional service fee not included on reservation

One thing that could be problematic for some is that it's on a main street, so it can get quite noisy even at night. This is not something that is connected to the room and actually in the description it's visible, but it's something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper.

We were given complimentary breakfast in a cute café nearby, which was a very nice surprise. The host was accommodating and polite. The location is perfect - walking distance to quite a few of the attractions and only 5 minutes to a metro station. The neighborhood is also wonderful - lots of pizzerias, cafes, restaurants. Overall, if you don't need anything grand and luxurious, this place is great value for money! The noise level - you can hear every door open and close.

It was super cozy, clean, very close to Roma termini and all the sightseeing was walkable, stuff was very friendly, I fully recommend Guest house Biondi, plus it’s budget friendly ?

Check in was not arranged on time, we had to wait for 30 minutes, and the reason is just bad organization, because 1.5 hours before check in time there was nobody cleaning the room, they arrived late. The room was not being cleaned properly.

It provided everything we needed. It was quiet, safe, and a convenient location. The AC was very nice to have and the breakfast coupons were also nice. The shower leaked a bit so the floor got wet, also the shower was very small so it would be difficult to use if you are a larger person. A darker curtain to block the light from the streets and in the morning, would have been appreciated. Mattress was a little hard.

The free coffee They lied about offering private bathrooms. The bathroom is down a dark hall where you need to walk past all other rooms. At night the only thing is a deem blue light. Not comfortable, or intimate, as a bathroom should be. And then the internet was terrible, never worked.

The elevator was an unexpected God-send! Especially after 5 days of stairs in other cities and my bummed knee! The location was great. Road is a bit noisy so bring a white noise device maybe. Grear location. Host were super nice. Shared fridge but no issues during our stay. Shower was good. Hair dryer was available so mine was unnecessary! Bed was a bit firm but comfortable. Loved the big windows you could open. The pillows were not great for us. Plenty of them and we made do, because so blessed to even be in Rome! But a couple of them were flat, and the other couple were very hard

Great room very comfortable close to coliseum and lots of tasty food within a block Everything was good but Wi-Fi probably due to the fact that the building is so solid as to interfere with signals

It’s a bit noisy. The shower was *extremely* small.
