Heritage Inn Express Roseville

Staff was generally fine. Problems: TV in room was very, very snowy. Unwatchable. Morning breakfast is not really a breakfast. Just a snack. Kinda misleading. If you check to see if a room is available before their normal check-in of 3 o'clock they will charge you an extra $55 if they have rooms ready. Never seen this before. Property is old and a bit tired. When we finally checked in we had to changed one room due to smoke smell. Plus a $100 damage fee is charged. Won't know if returned until after you've left area.

The room was big and clean. The bathroom could use some renovating as the ceiling and walls looked like they had been patched from leaks. Overall good place for one night but we never found an ice machine. However, our room was right next to the housekeeping storage room and the housekeepers started banging around and talking loudly to each other very early in the morning. There was no chance of sleeping in due to how loud they were.

Our 1st room smelled like smoke but the staff was so good at changing us in the morning our second room was amazing and the bag breakfasts were really nice to have in the morning with the coffee. Thank you so much.

The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere made me feel relaxed and at home. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciated the excellent service throughout my stay. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit so enjoyable. I would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable experience.

The room was great. It was clean and had all we needed. The exterior of the building looks very dated, but don't let it scare you. This place and the front desk people were great!

The parking was super convenient. Rooms are standard. Nothing crazy.

Our room was clean, but the place has not been updated since the 90s at least and there was a metal enclosure around the base of the bed for some dumb reason that would clang like a cymbal whenever anyone accidentally walked into it; which was a lot. And you could hear it from multiple rooms. Overall would not recommend.

Clean room, breakfast is ready packed not buffet.

Breakfast was not breakfast! Gave us a jail bag of food with a brown banana inside. Hard muffin and a small cup of cereal. So many spiders and Rollie pollies inside the room. My family and I got bit up from spider!

Room was clean however bathroom was not! The mini split unit barely works.

I do not recommend this hotel. Unsafe, no protection. They say there is quiet hours which it is not enforced. People below us were under the influence. From 1:00 am till 6:00 am there was constant yelling, screaming, bangs on walls, screeching of furniture. It sounded scary and unsafe. Something needs to be done here. I am reporting this for further investigation.

Honestly at first glance I thought this place was going to be bad..looked run down, nothing like the pictures. While I still believe the pictures were definitely AI edited, the place wasn't bad. I stayed in the middle area on the top floor. It was quiet, clean, and the bed was comfy. Slept well. Just note, if you plan on getting freaky with your partner the walls are thin and thank goodness the AC fan can drown it out, our neighbors were really loud!! The walk ways and the stairs are dirty and show their age. Honestly its just an old hotel that needs a bit more TLC as the paint really isn't enough. Linens could be cleaner, stains on sheets. A couple clean towels had hair on them. I tossed it aside and used other towels. I didn't complain as I had enough towels to use. Gran and go breakfast was better than thought..Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese muffins, fruit, yogurt, and juice. The office also has a bagel bar and coffee. Staff was very friendly and even filled my cooler with ice. Only 1 ice machine and its in the lobby. I may stay again, especially for the price.

The gentleman at the front desk at check in was very friendly. Other than that the staff that came on later had a terrible attitude, when I asked for a plunger delivered to my room. I had to go to the front desk and leave my special needs son by himself. The room was filthy and smelled like urine. The bathroom tile grout was falling out of the seams and the property was in very poor condition. Definitely not worth $150 a night! Don’t stay here.
