Overall perfect place, clean, spacious, rooftop, perfect location (quiet but less than 5 minute walk into town). Best things were the staff and our beautiful view from our bedroom and from the rooftop.

The staff were amazing. Very accommodating when my partner got unwell. They sorted us an extra night in a new room and helped us with our onward travel and bus bookings.

Awesome place to stay in Sapa. Very nice and clean homestay. Owner is really nice and friendly, fluent in english. Since it is in an older city, it is not as new. Also getting to the location, you have to take stairs since it is in the middle of the alleyway/stair way.

Just the stairs. The property located in downside of the hill. We had heavy baggages and faced difficulty to carry baggage through so many stairs to reach to homestay. But staffs helped us and the issue was solved.

Beautiful views. Great staff. Helpful and quiet. Stayed an extra 4 nights. The mattresses could use a little upgrade.

One of my favorite parts of the stay was the hotel concierge. I can’t believe I didn’t get his name but he was amazing. Helped us out so much with our stay including booking tours. The one thing I would change or would like is for the restrooms to have a squeegee for the floor so it doesn’t stay wet after a shower.

    Old property, smell bad

  • Engine customer May 2026

the tenant wasn't extremely nice and i was surprised that you have to pay if you want to leave your bags for the day after chekout since most hostels dont charge for that. the rooms were also not really isolated so overall i was a bit hard to fall asleep

The location was great for exploring SaPa by foot. Our room had a fantastic view. The breakfast was really good and the staff are great. Everything was great.

Staff was very nice and the communication was also good.

hot water lasted 2 mins, very very loud room is not soundproof at all there is so much street noise

Absolutely gorgeous view!! I stayed in one of the mountain view suites and it was 100% completely entirely worth it. There was a little balcony to sit at to watch sunsets and sunrises, and the bed was comfortable as were the pillows. There was good AC and the staff was very kind and friendly. I totally recommend it, and wish to return! The only downside is that you need to go down a lot of stairs to reach it. There is a little ramp to wheel your luggage next to the stairs, but if you have only hand luggage, it will suck a little.

The room was spacious and we could put the heater on (no air conditioning required in March!) My morning filter Vietnamese coffee at breakfast was the best I have had in my whole Vietnamese stay. Most importantly, big shout out to Diego, our multilingual front of house who made everything so easy for us. Top man. The Saigon beer was very reasonably priced, which we enjoyed no end! Not being able to stay longer.

It’s such a wonderful stay! Located in a bit away from the Main Street (5min away) so it’s not that loud and crowded I would say but it’s till super close to the center area. And the view is truly mega!

The location was excellent! On a quiet street but within really easy walking distance of everything. Our room was really large and we had excellent views (specifically booked a mountain view room with a balcony). Reliable hot water. I was cold and my husband is eternally too hot and they got me an extra blanket which I greatly appreciated. The only downside is the long flight of stairs down to it from the street. Honestly, I like that it is off the street because it was so quiet but it was a little daunting to think of going out after a long day of trekking. I definitely recommend this location as it is not in the middle of the neon light nightmare around the lake but is an easy walk if you want to head there for dinner. We walked over there a couple of times but found good food and better prices closer to home. Would stay here again!!

They have a sign in the bathroom telling you not to shower, stains on the sheets, breakfast very limited. One staff member was helpful but the other was really not and was arrogant. Would not return.

Dorm bed first night (locker, hot shower, soap, towel, good WiFi, clean, warm blanket), but did not enjoy being in (damp) basement, opened window for fresh air | upgraded to private rom second night, appreciated heater to mitigate cool-damp weather | good communication, owner was reasonable and helpful |

It was so cold in the hostel and room, there were no heater or anything like this
