It’s a very nice property The scented sheets and towels. Maybe just a neutral scent so it doesn’t interfere with the wines.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our hostess whose name I wish I could remember! She was a joy to see every morning. The property is centered within the heart of the town, which we loved. Getting luggage to and from our vehicle was certainly a good workout! This would not be a good location for anyone with a disability. My room was on the top floor, so the ceilings were low and had beams so once I walked out of the restroom, I pretty much walked around bent over. The room was lovely, but being tall, I banged my head more than a few times! (I’m 178 cm).

La Maison du Clocher is a beautiful bed and breakfast hotel located on a quiet street in the heart of Saint Émilion. It's the perfect location and easily accessible to everything in town. The hosts, Caroline and Lucie, were great - they were very responsive, and always willing to help with restaurant suggestions and reservations, wine tastings, and transport to the airport. The hotel itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated, and the outdoor patio was a lovely place to enjoy breakfast and start the day.

Caroline, our host was incredible. She gave us tips and helped us get reservations for some amazing sought after places. She took time to go through the map of the area and really make sure we had everything we needed.

Breakfast was terrific every day. Fresh pastry and fruit, juices, coffee, granola and more. The highlight for our stay was Lucy, the host. She was an invaluable source of local knowledge and helpful hints. She made our stay in St Emillion many times more enjoyable than sightseeing on our own. The only things I can suggest are: 1. a dresser in the suite would be preferable to living out of a suitcase for multiple days.and 2. Perhaps a wi fi extender that covers the delightful outdoor patio space would also be welcome.

The location is perfect and the host(s) were so incredibly helpful for us, setting up taxis and private visits to local Chateaus to taste wine.

The owner, Caroline and her lovely staff (including the amazing Lucie) are so warm, hospital and helpful. They are so welcoming and ensure that you can find everything you need to know about the beautiful town of Saint Emilion. The accommodations are gorgeous, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The morning breakfast is beautiful and all that you need to get your morning off on the right foot. You will not want to leave! I enjoyed my brief stay here very much and look forward to returning. Absolutely nothing.

Great location, clean and friendly!

The hotel was perfect as were the hosts. We were attending a wedding and other included functions. Taxis were arranged as needed. If you sleep on the left side of the bed you must watch your head as the ceiling slopes.

Tours and made our stay amazing
-
The hosts were really friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed during our visit. They also gave us great tips on things to do in the area and recommended some good restaurants. The location was amazing, and everything was very clean. The bed felt too soft, and there were limited breakfast options for those who prefer savoury dishes. However, the croissants, toast, and yogurt were delicious.

The room was very spacious for a couple to enjoy a quiet stay in the center of the city. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and simply decorated with thoughtful details of french charm. The staff was very friendly and always so helpful. I absolutely loved staying at La Maison du Clocher! Nothing

Beautiful room and house, very well located in town, and the owner was also very insightful and helpful with their recommendations of things to do, where to eat, etc. Attention to details in the room was appreciated and the bed was very comfortable.

This is a lovely restored historic house in a quiet area yet still in the heart of St. Emilio. Caroline and Amber were the perfect hostesses and catered To our every need. Highly recommend.
-
Large, clean, comfortable room with beautiful stone walls and beamed ceiling. Perfect location one short block from the main square near the base of Eglise Monolithe de Saint-Emilion. The operators Caroline and Ambre were kind, helpful, happy hosts. Highly recommended. spiral staircase adds character but also a slight challenge with large luggage. But Caroline and Amber made it easy.

All the kindness and warm welcome! Everything was perfect and exceeded by far our expectation! We really felt ourselves at home! Nothing!!! Everything was perfect!

Great location, so close to the centre of St Emilion. Wonderful old house, full of character, Caroline is a great host! Little bit hard to find in the car to drop off our luggage. The house is down a little lane and if you have a larger car (as I did) it is quite hard to manoeuvre.
