Brit Hotel De Paris

We had a room facing the back of the hotel which was very quiet. The room was small but very comfortable. The hotel was easy walking distance to central St-Jean-de-Luz. Staff were very friendly.

Hiking the El Camino Norte... Great location close to everything. The room was very clean. Staff was especially nice and helpful. Great morning buffet. I would stay here again.

The room and beds were comfortable, and all we needed for a one-night stay. I was pleased to receive a message before we arrived explaining about check-in and pleased that the receptionist seemed happy to let me practice my intermediate standard French. In the short time we had nothing really came to mind.

This is a lovely, small hotel with personality. The rooms are homely with excellent facilities. The staff are helpful and attentive. The breakfast (for which we paid extra when we arrived) was full of good things and taken in a light and airy room. The hotel is magnificently situated, about 200m from the station where we caught our train to Paris, and it's only a short walk into town, to its wonderful church, its market, its excellent restaurants and a fine beach.

The location is very good. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The shower is decent (no leaks!). Free parking is available across the main road. I've stayed here before (6 years ago). This time it felt considerably more run down. A scary crack in the wall in the room and sagging panels in the ceiling in front of the elevator made me feel like the building itself was falling apart (earthquake damage?). Provided desk is too tall for the provided chair (uncomfortable to use a computer with the keyboard that high). Tight bathroom (and I'm considered quite skinny). Thin walls. Could hear next-door neighbors and EVERYTHING from the hallway, especially doors. Lots of banging like people moving furniture and dropping heavy boxes all throughout the day. Very annoying.

Helpful staff, large room kept clean by excellent staff. Bed very comfortable ,shower excellent. location very good. I would stay again. Breakfast ok but why have corn flakes ugh ,has no nutritional value. Otherwise St jean de Luz a great town.

The location was convenient to the station and the town. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. A decent breakfast was available. The windows had sheer coverings but no curtains. I felt somewhat exposed.
