Hotel Colbert

Desk receptionist was extremely knowledgeable about local restaurants, plus I forgot my phone charger and she kindly lent me one which was extremely helpful since it was late enough that no shops were open. My only complaint, breakfast selection wasn't very appealing

Very nice staff. Wifi issues but good value. Parking ended up being €40 for 20 hours in Port Parking.

The Reception was excellent. Breakfast was great. And the bed was really comfortable There was road works outside. It might have been a good idea to mention this before our arrival as it made it a little difficult to find a way in.

Great location near the train station. Clean and quiet. Breakfast was terrific. The manager took great care of us and was very attentive to our needs! We were riding our bicycles from Bordeaux to San Sebastian and took a couple nights in St Jean de Luz. Very fun little town in the Cote Basque. We werent on a "lounge around the pool" kinda vacation and this hotel worked perfectly for us!

Excellent location right next to the station. Wonderful place to stay if staying here on your way towards Spain.

This is an example of a very good very simple basic hotel. The room was simple but very comfortable with adequate amenities. They had quite a nice breakfast. Communication was excellent and the were kind enough to let me use the single car garage that they have for 20 euros. The staff was extremely helpful and the location couldn’t be better; right next to Les Halle’s market and a quick walk to the beach and dozens of little restaurants and bars Because it was locked off from cars because of construction, it was a little hard to get to by car.

The location was convenient for an overnight stay. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The staff were welcoming. The hotel could do with some uodating/refurbishment.

Location is very convenient for the train station and the town. My room was at the back so noise from the street wasn't a problem. Breakfast was good. I could hear everything in the rooms around me. The room was small for a double, for 2 people it would be very cramped so luckily I was alone. Parts of the room were dusty and needed cleaning, eg the table with tea and coffee on it was really dusty.

Nice room with all the necessary equipment

Reasonably clean. Old, outdated property. Air conditioning didn’t work. No plug in bath. Toilet not anchored to floor. No facilities out of hours. Staff quite miserable. Wouldn’t stay again.

Really useful location near the station and the pretty town St Jean de Luz. Had a comfortable stay.
