The hotel is in the heart of historic Salamanca. You will be able to walk outside and immediately get to the key places plus the shopping area. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The hotel offers car parking which made it convenient. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity to select from. The room was spacious and comfortable with many amenities. NA

Gabriel at reception was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The room was excellent and had a nice French balcony. The breakfast was very nice as well. The location was about as good as it could get. Near the Plaza Mayor.

The Hotel Rua is in a fantastic location near the Plaza Major in the heart of old Salamanca. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the room was fabulous, with a large desk, sofa, coffee table in addition to the bed. It also had a glassed-in balcony overlooking the street. Although it advertises parking, the private lot is several blocks away. However, they kindly advised us to pull up temporarily near the hotel to unload our luggage before then parking the car.

The elevators didn’t work during our entire stay. And we were on the higher floor with our 85 year old mother. We also were stuck in the elevator once. It seemed like this is a regular occurrence as it was never fixed during our stay.

The breakfast was superb. Location was fabulous right next to Plaza Major. Room in perfect condition and the staff was extremely helpful.

Nice old building in a GREAT location in old Salamanca, where it was busy yet the room was quiet. Patricia was incredibly helpful in recommending restaurants and other things. Bed was comfy, shower had nice hot water with plenty of pressure. While the room wasn't particularly updated, it was very clean. Breakfast was generous and mostly good, with lots of choices (though the eggs were consistently cold). We stayed 3 nights and would absolutely stay again. No fridge or iron. No view (at least from our room)

Perfect location in Salamanca, the staff were stand out in their welcome, the facilities were very clean, a little dated in decor but very comfortable and the breakfast was beautiful with eggs cooked to order perfectly. Parking garage is a small distance away so would recommend dropping off bags first- hotel was excellent in their communication to facilitate this.
