Blaue Gans has such an optimal location. I could walk out, and everything was convenient. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel if anything isn't walkable. There was amazing food nearby, and I enjoyed exploring the Salzburg streets and bridges. The room's entrance had hooks for things to hang, and the bathroom was well-sized so I could reasonably place things on the counter and move around. I also loved the smell of the bath products given!
