There was free cancellation policy up til a few hours before you check-in. Even though there's a bus outside the hotel that can take you to the train station, it only comes every 30 minutes, and it's another 25 minutes' ride to the train station. Then you'd have to transfer to another bus to the Old Town. By the way the bus drivers were very rough, stepping on breaks and doing quick turns while the bus was so crowded.

Good property, but a bit away from the town centre. Advantage is that the bus stop is right under the hotel, so can travel to town centre in bus without much of a walk. Lovely to stay, if you want it away from crowd.

Clean, perfect location for a short stay and vist to downtown Salzburg. Breakfast was a bit too basic for some but not bad at all.
