The room was far better than I expected. Well, I mainly read the comments that others had written, and got a mixed conclusion. I thought it might be crowded and might not be clean enough for my standards. I also thought it might be too warm in the room. But I was there last week (7–8 July), the weather was not so hot, and the fan was definitely enough! And I slept very well as it was quiet and the curtain just kept the room almost light-free in the early morning, thus I could rest very well on the first night in Salzburg! Of course you need to make your own bed, but I think that is just very European – you do not expect others to do everything for you : ) I arrived late, so the others were already in bed. I tried my best to cover the light on my bed, so it wouldn't impact others while I could still have enough light to arrange things. I guess it worked well : ) The bathroom was not crowded at all. There were, I guess, at least four showers in the women's shower room and enough mirrors and washing stations. I did not need to wait at all, and the toilet and toilet room were also tidy and very clean. Besides, there is a washbasin inside the room – I did not use it as I did not notice it until the moment I was about to leave. I will surely stay there again if I have a limited budget : ) Nothing, but I wish there were options for girls-only rooms, for example. But my "request" was solved as I got a room with only girls : )

Good location. Glad they had towels with a refundable deposit. Nice to share a room and chat with other travelers. Felt safe. Everything besides the beds and lockers seemed worn. Felt like I was transported back to 1980 in some ways. I loved the 80’s, but it didn’t feel like it had been kept up the whole time.

Bathrooms seemed outdated and felt dirty.

Very near the main train station. Airconditioned common area. The single room is small for the price or a bit expensive for the size compared to other big cities in Austria.
-
The location is well situated, very near the center of the city and the train station. The rooms are clean except for a weak internet facility. To be frank, I didn't expect such a slow internet connection/service. Improve the Wi-Fi service.

The showers had glass doors that were too revealing. It was really uncomfortable to shower without a real degree of privacy, and the showers themselves were gross. Also the rooms are really hot in the summer because air conditioning is only in the common areas. Also the night lights are so bright and the pillows are really flat.
-
The location was key - very close to the train station and bus station. If you go in the summer be prepared to sweat! It was so hot in the facility it was hard to get comfortable for more than 5 minutes let alone sleep. The facility provided fans, but the plugs were no where near reachable to you/beds/windows

The hostel had a great atmosphere, and the bar was hopping. I think this was in part due to the free shot they give you, which was A) very good and B) probably encourages people to gather there. The bathrooms could be cleaner. My room had an incredibly rude and disruptive guest, who is apparently a regular. Another person in my room complained about his outrageous behavior, but the staff said there was nothing they could do.

The storage in the room was great . Very big cupboards to fit in big size bags . The Bed was also wide and comfortable Not anything in specific

The Staff were really kind. The hostel rooms were clean and the best part is it's really affordable for student travellers.
-
Watching the good film at night No cooking in the kitchen
-
The room was nice, common bathrooms were well equipped. The evening screening of the sound of music was a lot of fun! They also give a coupon for a shot at the bar that's fun. And coffee and tea is always available.
-
Too many beds in small room
-
The only small issue was that the showers didn’t really drain.
-
Location was OK, I stayed here a very long time ago and it was far less hectic and more reasonable price high schooly
-
No AC and no fan- the rooms were VERY hot and stuffy, especially on the higher floors.
-
Privacy of beds, quality of materials, safe in bed. No shampoo in bathroom :(
-
Lack of basic facilities like microwave, stove,, glasses etc in the kitchen. No ventilation in the room and it gets very hot even in spring. Squeaking doors, disturbing sleep.
-
Great location. Super nice staff. Parking available. Good/simple and not expensive breakfast to get an early start to explore the city. Onsite bar if you just want to relax and meet friendly people.

Location convenience, luggage storage, kitchenette, free tea & coffee, nearby town travel suggestions, Sound of Music showing every night! Combined female and male shower on our floor wasn’t desirable for a female. Too few toilets for the number of rooms on each floor. Pillows are completely flat.
