Hotel Casablanca

Extremely small restroom, pricey for the amenities offered.

Location We were not allowed to play music at the pool area

I want to be accurate with my words. This place is not a hotel in the way a Hilton or Marriott are. This is more of a no frills Bed and Breakfast.

Location, breakfast and restaurants. Staff is very helpful. Pool area and the guy that rents the golf carts. Carts were old and more expensive than what you can get half a block from the hotel.

Just minor things, empty minibar and the fact that I can't carry a tab till the end of stay with the use of hotel facilities, restaurant, bar etc.

Great location by the beach. The superior room didn’t feel superior in all honesty. Very dated room, the AC was too cold and couldn’t be turned off because of the condensation, vents dripping, leaking toilet. The pungent smell of bleach and other cleaning substances was so overwhelming and unpleasant. Also with half board, the differing options across the restaurants were confusing. In one restaurant it was a set 3-course with a drink and then in another it was a buffet with not all drinks included. There needs to be consistency. The staff are also not all able to communicate clearly in English which proved a problem when asking simple questions of when dining times were and which restaurant to go for dinner.

Loved the location. Easy to walk to several of my excursions and right beside the beach. Some of the staff felt very put out that I didn't speak Spanish. I've been in Colombia for over a week and this was the first time I dealt with unfriendliness.

Breakfast was great, room was great More staff that spoke english. We had two small batches of clothes washed and it was $90 usd!!!! outrages.

We had such a great experience, in Hotel Casablanca last year, that we stayed here again, on this trip, and was pleasantly surprised to see Diana there to greet us. She provided us with the best service, with a beautiful smile on her face, and everyone there is very friendly and helpful, as well. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are super comfortable and the A/C works great! The breakfast was delicious and there's nothing that I can think of that was lacking. Looking forward to staying here again, upon our return. The only thing that we asked for, that they didn't have, was an iron that we could borrow, since they use industrial ones, but they were able to Iron our clothes for us and bring them back within a short time, for a small fee.

Good location - The Air Conditioner did not work properly, it never worked fine at night when going to sleep - Small Room - No Internet service during falf of our stay - The shower was complicated - Teh bed was unfomfortable

Exceptional

The location was great! Right in front of the beach, and close to the shops and restaurants. The staff were extra friendly, very welcoming, and all willing to help. During our vacation, we lost an Apple Watch at one of the tourist beaches (not at the hotel). We located the watch, but as tourists, decided to ask the hotel staff for opinions and help. The staff were all very helpful, calling the police and helping us get the help we required. In the end, we were able to find and retrieve the watch, all with the help of the hotel staff and police assistance! We stayed in one of the lodges in front of the pool. There was a water leakage from one of the sinks in our room. They came to try and fix the problem, but it didn’t get fixed. We had to cope with very wet and slippery floors ( laying bath towels on the floors) throughout our stay. Internet is very week inside the lodges, and it doesn’t reach some of the areas of the room.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The pool bar seemed understaffed.

Great location. Just a few steps from the beach. Very good room and the breakfast is one of the best you can have. We loved everything

Excellent location, decent accommodations, excellent breakfast. I hated wearing the arm band. It shouldn't be necessary. A/C would stop working from around 2 to 5 AM. I don't know if this is planned or if it was just happening at around the same time.
