Baymont by Wyndham San Diego Downtown

Good

It was a great room with a comfy bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was also a good breakfast. There was also a great Italian restaurant across the road. Nothing really. I would have liked some hangers in the closet. Without transport it's a long walk into town but I'd been there so I already knew that.

Noisy especially on Saturday night. Only one towel in the room. Old hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location Wasn’t aware that will be charging for parking, 25 dollars per day. Rooms really old and stinky. Don’t even bother to go to the breakfast, they will place like yogurt or milk like 6 of each for the entire time. No one so that we can request for more. Hardly no personal to help.

Closeness to downtown

Location, staff, cleanness, room size, comfortably. The breakfast was very very poor, no variety, and sometimes there were no enough items for guests, so sometimes we had to share one piece of cheese

I like location. staff was kind and service oriented. they handle any requests we had. I asked breakfast hours and got response till 10, but when I have visited breakfast corner at 9:40, saw it closed and the label said till 9:30.

The room smelled like a mix of urine and mold and there was a big sticky area in the carpet. The shower did not help cool down as the lowest setting was warm.

The room was crawling with ants and there was hair in the shower. The staff was friendly but that's about the only positive

It was near the Gaslamp Quarter and also close to the stores.

The beds were comfortable It was a little outdated I went to two rooms. One of my rooms had dirty cute tips left on the dresser and no toilet paper in the bathroom. I had to pay for parking which I was unaware of. I thought it was included. I was also told I would be receiving a crib free and I never got it. The breakfast was very plain. And the juice was water down.

Location was fantastic. Room was decent enough to meet our needs. Parking was tight, but with the extra garage space downstairs, this worked out great! Breakfast could have been better. It was high on carbs and sugar and could have used a bit more protein or something to fill us up.
