Baymont by Wyndham San Diego Downtown

They put me in another room and people were talking all night and arguing! What a hassle! Won’t recommend this place! Stay away!

The suite was non smoking but yet smelled so bad like someone had been smoking in there. Other than that it was clean. Sofa bed did look old and over used. Overall good.

the hotel was only 20 minutes from Petco Park. You get a continental breakfast in the morning. But no bacon or eggs. And it looked like they had free parking but you have to pay an extra $25 for parking.

The staff were really nice and helpful. I was missing body wash in the room but they just provided it to me when I asked. My key also wasn’t working at one point but that was also quickly resolved. The parking structure is also conveniently near by and rated at a reasonable price.

I will come again

It’s just an average motel, low budget. The showers leave a lot to be desired, and the parking situation is not ideal.

I love and really enjoy my stay here . The staff are so polite and helpful.

Location was super conveniente, located in Downtown San Diego. I wish they’d let you know beforehand that theres a $25 parking fee and you have to give a $100 deposit, I wish I would’ve known that beforehand as well or charged when I paid then the deposit returned. I did not see or read anything prior to making my reservation. Room was a decent size, the chair in the room at the desk was old some of the fabulous on the chair was missing or riped. The bed and pillows took me by surprise they were both super comfortable.

Pleasant

The bathroom wasn’t really up to basic standards. The soap dish in the shower was not clean. It had obvious residue from old bars of soap. The body wash dispenser in the shower was completely empty. And the shower drain backed up immediately after you turned on the water.

Rooms were clean, bathroom small and outdated. Had an accessible parking garage but the breakfast was very cheap despite being included. All carbs.

The price was very good! Overall, it was a good stay for the value and good breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to tourists traveling without a car. It is located far from downtown at the top of a steep hill, requiring a tiring 30-minute walk just to get into town. On top of the tough location, housekeeping was disappointing rooms were only cleaned every other day rather than daily.

Room was nice. Bed comfy. Parking is a nightmare. Also disappointed they charge for parking. Also didn’t feel completely handicap accessible unless I miss some ramps or something over by breakfast.

Comfortable bed, clean, quiet by night Breakfast was very limited, no protein at all, just carbs

Cons: room had a musty smell, dated motor lodge, people partying in parking lot.
