Best Western Plus Island Palms Hotel & Marina

A vintage funky beach hotel with lots of room for our extended family to relax together!

The property was clean. The view of the marina in the pool was great. I would definitely stay here again.. I don’t like the return of your deposit takes longer than it should.

Older hotel with comfy bed and good shower but it’s a bit away from everything They initially gave us a room that had been flooded, it was very damp and smelly. When we went back to advise they charged room to a much nicer one and and removed the parking fee of $25 which was nice as They did not advise me that they were charging me the charging fee.

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed here and we have always loved our stay. Rooms were clean and property is well maintained

Rude front desk staff needs to be fired this place sucks !

Good location. Friendly staff. Restaurant has great food. Dog owners from the marina allow their dogs to defecate right in front of guest rooms. The grass area is only a few feet in front of your room. Imagine sitting on your nice patio with a cup of coffee while a dog takes a dump right in front of you. Hotel needs to fix this.

My room was very clean and fully ready for my stay. Plenty of space, I didn’t need the extra bathroom, but with a family staying, it would have been helpful. I loved the balcony and used it often. Pool was nice and warm. My room was close to the pool, so a little loud during the day and till about 11pm. Food was good at the restaurant

Every one was nice, restaurant great and convenient. Coffee early in lobby

House keeper Chris was very nice and eager to help out with room cleaning Front desk girl at check in was very rude and non helping(didn't get name) only interested in upselling the rooms- not just me but I was observing her and tried 2 other couples. Offered one couple a suite for $20 then said not available and said they could upgrade to next size for $30..

Pleasant

Great location - just kind of average. I was upgraded at check in but my room felt like it was not really well maintained. There was a Hair on one of the towels - the balcony door was unlocked, closet doors open, it just felt like it was a rushed job with not a lot of attention to details.

Loved the staff, restaurant and the food!! The beds could be better. Not very comfortable.

Love to stay here after coming off our multi day fishing trips. Staff always does there best to get us in early if we need too. We also get to use the pool and jacuzzi ect while we wait for our room. Rooms and amenities are always clean.

Beautiful view of the marina. GREAT burger at the restaurant. Monday Special was awesome !

Great place to stay for a family, great place to stay for a work trip, great place to stay with a couples trip to get away for a couple days. Staff is amazing, security and parking is great, restaurant is fresh and delicious, pools and hot tubs are great for kids and adults after dark. Nice views everywhere, nice walking path too, great local spots within walking distance or a short drive and most places nearby have ample parking too.
