Gaslamp Hostel

rooms was so nice. no windows outside we we slept good in the dark. staff was friendly and the people staying over were also friendly. the complimentary breakfast is just cereal and fruit nothing crazy just bring your own ingredients to cook your own food. ac was nice plus the had a fan. honeslty good vibes and atmosphere plus its next to tacos el gordo. they also got a laundry costs 3$ each wash and dry. also they do fun events tuesdays- Saturdays . We got free drinks saturday so that was fun

So I really enjoyed the artwork everywhere.I think they were done by a local artist and it really gave it a really personalized touch.The food around was there area was very enjoyable from pizza to to Indian to taco and brunch spots all within a few blocks of each other.I will be back in a few months.Plus there is a grocery store down the street to purchase food as this establishment has cereal and oatmeal for breakfast whoever guest are welcome to purchase and cook any meals on site just make sure you wash your own dishes.

Breakfast options felt limited, but everything else was awesome! Room was clean, staff were all extra friendly, and the bathroom was always in good condition.

Es muy bonito y está limpio , muy organizado y execelente hubicacion , solo que el olor de la alfombra es muy fuerte , huele a viejo , deberían cambiarla y todo estaría perfecto ✨

Exceptional

This is a fantastic little hostel. I booked a bunk in room of 8 and it was quite cozy. Very clean. A bit of noise on a saturday night but not bad at all. I slept well and had a good hot shower. Easy check in.

It was an okay place to rest your head.

This hostel is amazing. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The staff is nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean, has charging ports in the bed. The bathrooms are clean as well as the common areas. It’s also in the perfect location. I highly recommend.

This is absolutely the best location. The staff is great, and considering the price, the facilities are great. The dorm beds have individual lighting and privacy curious. Unisex bathrooms

The room was plain , just a bed, a desk, and a place to hang stuff, but if you're looking for a place to just crash for the night, then the price for this place is just right. They serve snacks for breakfast, so you don't leave on an empty stomach, and there is an added attraction that they had interesting things in the lounge each evening, such as karaoke, beer pong margarita night, etc. The staff was young and delightful, all overseen by a very focused house mom (sort of). All in all, a very pleasant experience for the price.

I enjoyed everything about gaslamp hostel fr! Employees 100% helpful, friendly and very kind. The only thing i didnt like about the hostel was the smell. Like right after i open the main door then BOOOM👃😭i think its the bathrooms? Im not sure but i think we should put some airfreshners or something to get rid of the smell. Even my room i can smell it through the vents. But overall my stay was 9/10 :))
