Very friendly staff! Overall, the facility is old and in need of new furniture, yields, need, limited, curtains, carpet etc...

Such a nice little Hotel! Clean and modernized! Great pool! Food at breakfast was really good! Everyone was addicted to the liitle cinnamon rolls! Every staff member was helpful and nice!! Would definitely recommend!

We were in town for baseball tourney. 10 mins from our venue. Many restaurants snd stores near by. 20 min from DT SD/airport. Friendl staff all around.

I know it's California, but still, $10 a night just to park your car is robbery. I despise this trend.

They gave me a room that I did not book and it smelled like cats lived in there

The pool and the carpets could use some serious cleaning. With the pool it is the walls, not the water. The water was clean, but otherwise it was clean and a great place to stay. The only other issue is parking. There are a fair number of (tight) spots but 2 hotels share it so very hard to get in and out.

The staff was great—everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The only downside was that the carpet looked old and could use replacing. Also, there was a parking fee, but finding a parking spot was extremely difficult. Paying for parking when there were hardly any spaces available was frustrating. Overall, the staff made for a positive experience, but the parking situation and the condition of the carpet could definitely be improved.

Exceptional

Check-in was not a good experience. Check-in person was busy busy having a social chat with someone while she kept me waiting. Was unfriendly and did not even show recognition. Shower was not working. Generally run down and dirty.

Everything was great

The staff were nice and the breakfast was pretty good. The location is a bit out of the way if you’re hoping to spend time in San Diego or the beach. The parking is a bit tight.

Breakfast was good everyday. My room was at the end of the hallway,so was quiet. I could enter and leave thru the back door, which was very close to my room. I stayed 5 nights instead of 6. I was not refunded any money for the night I didn't stay. I was going to be charged a fee for parking a car,even though I told staff at check-in I didn't have a car. I didn't get an itemized receipt for what I was charged at check out.
