Embassy Hotel

Then we discovered that the door did not lock at all and anyone could have walked into our room overnight. They gave us a new room for the 2nd night and despite being assured the heat would definately work, low and behold, it didn't and they only had 1 extra bed cover to give usand no blankets. Other then that, the first rooms bath/shower ran the whole time despite it being turned off the most we could and the second rooms bathroom had hair on all the bathroom walls. Completely miserable stay!

Run down, terrible mattress, temu hotel

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It is old and creepy. The location of the hotel is not nice, lots of homeless and it is dirty. The elevator is super old and very small me and my friend did not fit in together with our backpacks and suitcases. It was very very run down, I left 10 minutes after checking in and found a new hotel because I was scared. I still have not received a refund for my 3 night stay, when I left within 10 minutes of checking out. I would never recommend this hotel. Very very disappointed

The surrounding area didn't feel very safe, and the parking situation was a bit unsettling, although it was adequate. The hotel only had one small elevator, and while it worked, it definitely felt a little sketchy. The rooms don't have air conditioning. Since there were no screens on the windows, we had to choose between being uncomfortably warm or leaving the window open and worrying about bugs and the outside noise. We also tried the coffee shop, but it was overpriced and the coffee wasn't very good. Overall, the hotel met our basic needs, but I would probably look for another option next time.

Well located, but the place is an old building and nothing to offer beside the room not on going cleaning available. It was very cold room and I asked for extra blanket which they could not provide. They said to put on the radiator which didn’t work to warm up the room the room itself is OK if you want low budget hotel for last choice that’s a good place to be.

For travelers looking for a clean and comfortable hotel, I would suggest booking somewhere else. Based on my experience, I do not recommend staying here.

I did ask for extra pillow and blanket, but was told they have no extras.. If you want your room to be refreshed, you have to let the front desk know they don't automatically do it. And there is a sign that tells you that up front but didn't see that till later.

Room was not very clean and the radiator makes tons of noise in the middle of the night, despite it not being on. Otherwise, bed was comfy, staff was nice. If you’re looking for budget friendly and if you just need a place to sleep, shower and leave belongings, this is fine

The hotel’s location makes it easy to access different points of interest throughout the city, but the neighborhood is kinda sketchy once you get a couple blocks away (at night esp, but we didn’t have any problems at all) It was a clean cheap hotel centrally located with friendly staff, checked all the boxes for us besides AC. Parking lot is safe $30/night with an attendant there watching over during the day so I felt extra safe leaving my car all three days.

Just location may be. There was no AC in this property instead there is heater which made the room very hot and unable to sleep. I don't know how cold it would be in SF but I guess there should be both options rather than just heater.

This hotel is extremely clean, especially for being an old building. Some of the carpet and furniture is very old.

the place was disgusting, my room looked very similar to a motel 6, stains covering the carpet, the carpet itself had tears and wasn't properly attached to the floor. the walls were incredibly dirty with splatter marks, it smelled awful in the room. I didn't find anything redeeming about this place.
