It was nice looking. But liquid was coming up between the boards in the bathroom. There was no phone in the room. We waited for 15 mins to get checked in, and were put in the wrong room. Went to check out and no one was around so we dropped the card on the desk and walked out. Worst motel 6 experience I've ever had.

I liked how big the room was I didn’t like how the room door was kinda thin and I would hear everything and it didn’t feel very secure

Room #315, broken window with a strong scent of cigarette in the room upon arrival. No exhaust fan in the bathroom so I opened the bathroom window and was immediately soaked from water coming in through the window from floors above. Tried to call the front desk and phone was out of order. Truly the worst overnight experience ever with my children.

I honestly don’t think we’d stay here again. The first room we were put into, the deadbolt was broken and the door wouldn’t lock. Thankfully the employee switched us rooms. There is no AC, which I know is typical in SF sometimes, so we didn’t think too much about it. We called and ask for more towels and trash bags three times and were never given them, and eventually was told to go track down the maid on the 6th floor for them which I thought was ridiculous (we stayed 4 nights and nobody ever came to the room to restock or clean or anything). The room is incredibly small. That being said, it was a place to stay and sleep, so it wasn’t the worst thing in the world. The location is not great, but we expected that. There were a lot of homeless around, again, we expected so that’s not an issue, but sitting on the steps and fenty folding in front of the door was a bit interesting. It is around a lot of delicious food places and was a short walk to many of them. No parking which sucked. That was a lack of looking on our part, but having to pay an extra $165 for parking was unexpected.

Terrible stay. Not at all as pictured. That cute lobby with the alleged cafe and bar? Torn up, doesn't exist. There were no amenities in our room, only bar soap. We had a longer stay and housekeeping didn't come once. Whenever we went to the front desk to request fresh towels, there was no one there even though it's supposed to be a 24/7 desk. Luckily there was staff there when we checked in and out, but they did not speak to us, only gestured because I do not believe they spoke English. Not to mention the neighborhood is horrendous and unsafe, but you can't blame the hotel for that. I don't know how there are so many positive reviews of this place. I really feel duped.

The outside is surrounded by homeless. The pictures you see through expedia are niceer than what it is. We got double full size beds. The room is the length of three women finger tip to finger tip. The TV had one channel; remote didn't work, we kept unplugging to turn off. The ac/heater didn't work. Thankfully the windows open but one didn't have a screen; we were on the fifth floor. There is no microwave or mini fridge so you can't bring leftovers.

The hotel is in a terrible location with lots of unhoused in the area and people always sitting on the front steps of the entry way. There was a smoke detector constantly beeping because the battery was low somewhere on our floor. Front desk was notified multiple times through out our stay and was never fixed. There was what looked like black mold on the wall above our shower. The faucet handle to the bath/shower was broken. The door to our room notifies us to make sure to deadbolt the door while we are in the room and sleeping for our safety; however, the deadbolt was broken off.

This place is a mess. There were smoke alarms on our floor chirping the entire 4 days we were there. We told the front desk multiple times and each person that we told would nod and act like they cared. Nothing was ever done. There is one elevator and at times it wasn't available. Our room had the security lock torn off, so we couldn't use that while we slept. Our sink only had hot water and the faucet was falling off. The toilet roll holder was hanging out of the wall. There was painters tape wrapped around our main light. There were paper cups in 2 of our light fixtures. The fire detector in our room was covered in plastic. There isn't circulating air in the rooms, but we were able to use the ceiling fan and open the windows. The problem with opening the windows is it is chaos outside. Had to sleep with earplugs and sound machine. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Open the window, which is the noise outside is very loud. Cannot sleep well at all. Out side hotel is very dirty

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

stay far away from the registration process because they say they are 'business friendly' but nothing is further than the truth, there horribly chaotic and morally, unapologetically corrupt, stay...clear...they will steal your $money in more ways than one..Nuff-said

Multiple roaches in the bathroom, one of two locks on my door was broken

This place I wouldn’t recommend at all. Especially if you have small children. After 6 at night it’s not safe to walk the streets. Homeless people all over the streets. The Motel has an unpleasant stay and smell . First our room smell like smoke. The bathroom smell like heavy chlorine and made my mom and dadas eyes red. One of the windows was broken, and it didn’t have a screen. We had bugs flying in from the outside. The neighbors inside the hotel were loud, obnoxious and had a fight outside our door. There barking dog startled my parents. The photos they had on their website are not the same as the rooms they claim to have. There was spiderwebs on top of the door as we came into the room. We would leave the windows open and when we would come back from one of our tours. The room would smell like smoke. There is no pool in the building.

The bed was very comfortable. We didn't like everything. Right from check in I was given a 2 full bed instead of a 1 king bed. I went down to get it fixed and the next room they gave was very hot with no ceiling fan. Also no AC. The bathroom was very dirty so we asked for a different one. We managed to get one with a ceiling fan. The bed was comfortable and perfect but the sheets were stained. We thought they were just not washed properly. Also the deadbolt to the door was broken which gave us a scary thought that someone had broken into the room. This bathroom was cleaner but the shower nob broke while turning on the water. Also the restroom door wouldn't close because it wasn't set properly. The towels had a hint of dirt even though they were clean. Another bad thing is the walls are thin so you will hear dogs barking and men and woman shouting. We even heard a mom spanking their kid. Another concerning noise we heard was the fire detector battery going off every day. That also made me feel unsafe. I believe this is a hotel and apartment based off of the people staying and living there. The staff here are polite but they ignore a lot. One time my keycard wasn't working so I rang the Ring camera to let us in but the front desk didn't answer. Another guest let us in and at the front counter was a man playing on his phone. Also your walk to and from the hotel is full of shady characters and poop on the ground. This motel is in a rough part of San Francisco.

It’s a good place to stay if you’re homeless the manager was very respectful and nice and he was the best part of the hotel. The hotel was a travesty.
