The bed was swinging and not stable. The clothes cabinet was not covered with door also there was no safe in the room where you need to store your imported things.

Staff are not very friendly and they don't respond to requests. I ordered pillows and the guy at the reception reacted strangely as if he has never heard of pillows before. He promised to get us the pillows, an hour or later no response. So we had to go back to reception and order.

Barcelona is expensive - no two ways about it. This place is a little "out of the way" but still pretty accessible to the best of Barcelona. The area around it is great too. Some great parks and outdoor cafe's and restaurants. For the price it is good (compared to other places in Barcelona). No fridge in the room is a real problem for me. That was the big one. It is a little cramped but overall, compared to similar priced places, it was ok.

Miguel helped me plan a day in Barcelona. Everyone was wonderful. They helped me navigate the Metro. Miguel should be a travel agent. Thank you Hotel Ibis

Too much noise in the morning and cleaning crew. Facility is not providing free parking.

The night before we flew out of Spain, we wanted to experience Barcelona. All the accommodations downtown were super expensive. The Ibis was reasonably priced and close to the train to downtown. It worked out great. We took the train (direct line) downtown and walked around, ate dinner, and took the train back. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice.

The location is kind of a sober and windy place with office buildings, but it is next to a park.

Parking space, staff was very helpful and breakfast buffet was good. A little too far from city center

Great place to stay It was great value for the price. Nothing to worry about at all

There was no kettle. Also there was no common toilet in the building.

Staff was rude on several occasions, mostly in regards to breakfast and the food area. Hotel did not have hygiene supplies like shampoo, conditioner, or washcloths. We paid for two days of complimentary breakfasts, but ended up having to leave early unexpectedly the second day (before breakfast had started). We asked for a refund at checkout and they said they couldn’t do anything. I emailed later asking again and they responded that they had offered me a picnic breakfast (which they hadn’t) and that I had told them I was leaving early (I didn’t know until day of) so they wouldn’t give me a refund. Nice facilities, not very impressed with staff.

Comfy bed. I arrived at the hotel exhausted after a long trip with my 4Y.O. child, only to be met with one of the worst welcomes I’ve ever experienced. We got there at 11h, fully aware that check-in was later, but I simply asked if we could sit and rest for a moment. Instead of understanding or empathy, the man at reception was incredibly rude and dismissive. To make things worse, the hotel only had two chairs in the lobby – both already occupied – so I walked to the restaurant to sit down quietly. The way the staff looked at us made me feel like a criminal (talking Spanish but clear meaning!) . It was as if they thought we were trying to steal breakfast, despite making it clear that we were just waiting for a room and needed a break. ( you can review cameras!) As a tired family with a small child, this treatment was unacceptable and humiliating. It completely ruined my first impression and frankly, my trust in the hotel’s hospitality. The only saving grace of my stay was Ms NORA (many thanks to her) – a kind and professional staff member who took the time to listen, showed empathy, and helped calm me down. Her kindness should be the standard here, not the exception.
