Motel 6 Santa Cruz, CA

My room wasn't that clean. The AC wasn't working i did let them know but nothing was done to make me more comfortable with my family specially with kids.

The staff weren’t friendly at all. The rooms were clean

It’s a place with walls, dirty and reeking of cigarette rooms. Couldn’t stay the night had to leave, management doesn’t care, I did get a partial refund which helps but still at over $500 for two nights and I literally couldn’t stay the night there is insane. So if you need a literal bed this is perfect if you have any class it’s not for you.

The hotel was good. The room was clean, and the staff was really kind to us. We reserved it only to go to sleep, and it was perfect for us. Around the hotel, you can find a gas station and different restaurants or fast-food options.

The place was quiet, the ventilation system was good and maintained a consistent temperature. Again, a very nice v e surprise

Upon my arrival, I observed a man standing outside his room wearing only underwear. I notified the front desk staff, who indicated they were already aware of the situation and treated it as normal behavior. This is entirely unacceptable, particularly for families traveling with children. Furthermore, the room rate is nearly $500 per night, yet the bedding has visible burn holes. I will not be staying at this establishment again

It looked clean, but smelled like urine.

WORST STAY EVER! The staff was non-existent. The room was way over priced. No shampoo, no extra towel, no extra pillow, refrigerator didn't run, room was HOT, wifi didnt work (no internet). Office was closed, no one answered the doorbell, no one answered the phone when you called and no one responded to any emails.

The property was jenky to say the least. Check in was pretty easy but the price for the stay was definitely not worth the buck. The hotel was dirty, outdated, and just not up to par. The property itself felt unsafe.

Very dirty shower. Towels smell. Bathroom had strong urine smell. Unsafe- large window did not lock.

No answer to the call bell. WiFi is not working. Barely minimal bedding/towel. Towels/sheets has blood/stains. No shampoo/conditioner. Had soap bar. No hot water just warm water.

I usually do not write a bad review. We had two rooms and both rooms had dirty linen. The bathrooms drain smelled like sewer. When I asked if there were extra blankets I was told there was only three extra blankets for the entire complex and had been given out. Both rooms were non smoking and one smelled horrible of cigarettes. The Motel Manager had a spray of his own he offered to help but it did not make a difference. I have been to Motel 6’s before and have never had an issue with the linen being dirty or stained .

Dirty unfriendly parking is aweful Horrible place! Do NOT Stay here! Homeless, drugs, prostitutes live and frequent this dump. Broken windshield from apparently a crazy screaming hooker (why we couldn’t sleep) Filthy dirty hole in the wall. I literally threw away my blanket pillow and clothing I brought into the room and I refused to bring in my bags or shower there. A nasty loud tweaker-fest. Motel 6 should give everyone that doesn’t live there a refund and advertise it as a homeless shelter or halfway house! I reserved online and couldn’t afford to go elsewhere, so as you can see from my budget I’m no princess with princess expectations. Just expectations of safety and cleanliness

Shower water took a long time to get warm enough to shower. The rooms walls were chipped and need craftsmanship on tile is very poor. Over priced for what you get and I would not stay there again.

First of all I had to check in a drive through window at 8:45 at night, as a single mother with two young children felt uncomfortable and not safe. Hard to park in the space was very crowded and tight. I had asked for extra towels and he said they were all out that the maids could bring me some tomorrow which I wanted to take a hot shower and I needed them. He told me there was three in the room when I checked there was only one. It had no closet and no coffee as he had mentioned in the room very disappointed would never stay again. The sheets didn’t match. They look dingy and dirty.
