Hampton Inn & Suites Santa Monica

A beautiful hotel near the Pier in Santa Monica. The lobby was very well laid out and inviting. The doors are always locked so only registered guests can get in . They have onsite security which makes guests feel additional safety. The staff was very helpful, including the onsite valet parking. The pool area was nicely maintained.

Absolutely amazing

Location was awesome. Walking distance from the beach, restaurants and the train too. The room w got with a balcony was very spacious!! Only request is there could have been more trashcans in thenroom.

Second option says Secured valet parking on site at a charge. It does NOT say only valet parking available. This is VERY misleading. Then to top it off, they charged me parking tax! The breakfast selection was OK. The yogurt and hard-boiled eggs were gone by 9. The woman in charge was not pleasant AT ALL. Several people made comments about her attitude.

The staffs are great. The room is clean. Conveniently located to the restaurants and stores. The water pressure on the shower is low. And the guest above my room made too much noise walking around, makes me feel like a baby elephant stomping around. No view from the room.

Breakfast was good, room was clean, no carpet means that those above you sound like a heard of elephants wearing combat boots. Two nights in a row the room above us was stomping around and it sounded like they were rearranging the room, shoving chairs across the floor and rolling their luggage, once at 10:30 pm and the other from 2:30-4am!! Pool and hot tub were good. Walking distance to the pier and the 3rd st. promanade and next door to Trader Joe's Valet is the only option for parking and while we were glad our vehicle was safe, it should be noted more clearly on the website.

Conveniently located and quiet.

No concern

A good clean stay. Centrally located. No parking whatsoever except valet ($75/night) so that was not ideal. Room was clean. Pool and jacuzzi were good. Complimentary breakfast was good and had a good variety to choose from.

Even though the staff are very nice. I will never plan to stay there again.

This is a nice hotel in a great location for going to the Santa Monica pier. Parking isn’t cheap at the hotel and the street parking can be difficult to find. Check the price. I booked six months out for $512 and two weeks before my stay the price dropped to $364. The Expedia staff helped me rebook without a problem.
