The perfect location near Santa Monica Pier; great restaurant, California vibe

Everything was great from the staff to the facilities. Especially like the little extras like free hire for beach equipment.

For parking, there are several options nearby, including one across the road, while we used the Civic Centre Parking Structure nearby. We did message the hotel both before and after the trip on queries, but no-one replied, although they like sending automated messages to you. Overall, good.

Staff was professional, friendly and helpful at all times. Comfortable room and great location. Short staffed in the donation - not great service at breakfast. Emanuel deserves a big raise. He was wonderful and doing the job of three people. The pool are needs more umbrellas- hard to find any shade.

What really stood out to us was the staff. From the security guard to the front desk and valet, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. We did have an unexpected situation around 1:30 in the morning when someone or something was banging against the wall and woke us up abruptly. We called the front desk, and both the front desk staff and security were incredibly responsive and helpful in addressing the situation. They took our concern seriously and handled it with such professionalism, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely stay at The Pierside again. Great location, spacious rooms, and truly wonderful staff! ❤️

The hotel was okay and staff was nice. However, we had bike stolen from the hotel. It was right next to portier who advised to leave bikes at the place while we went inside to get changed. We left it for few minutes and rented bike was stolen. It costs us $450. We requested CTTV review, no one got back to us. Zero credibility or interest from hotel, for that reason would never stay again and also do not recommend!!

The property is in a great location, very clean hotel and rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

one drawback is the parking. i understand it’s LA but you have to park your car overnight and it says $68 on the banner when you pull up. luckily we only had to stay one night but when we checked out they told us we had to pay $105! we were confused and they said it was for parking. it felt deceiving and we shared that with the manager who checked us out but he kept being a smart ass about how there’s “taxes everywhere in LA” but whatever we still payed it but i feel they should be more upfront about the cost. so many resort fees that just add up. other than that it’s pretty and clean and if u don’t care about expenses for parking then it’s perfect.

Close to the sea. Friendly staff. Services are great. They offer everything you need for the beach: towels, chairs, bodyboards, frisbees, balls… Valet is a little bit too expensive, but there a public parking in front of the hotel.

The room was very clean and the location was amazing. However, we kept having an issue with them taking all of our towels but not replacing them.
