Location was great. It’s an older building and the AC unit in our room on the 4th floor was so loud when it kicked on it sounded like a jet engine going. This would happen every 20 mins or so….all night long. So keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper.

The staff was amazing, and the location is perfect right between the third street promenade and pier. We also dig a big bus tour that was a five minute walk. Would definitely stay again.

Front desk staff was pleasant. Location was ideal and perfect.

I liked that it was close to the ocean but did not like that it didn’t have no continental breakfast for the price you pay at least that should of been provided, and pay for parking too

Great experience to stay with older kids, family of four. Excellent spot very close to action. Easy drop off, complimentary wifi & coffee in rooms. A great hub. No refrigerator in rooms but we found it a cozy little oasis with friendly staff.

Close to the Promenade, pier and restaurants, this is a classic old school hotel.

The location of the property is excellent restaurants and the pier within walking distance staff was very friendly and helpful We just had a little trouble with the elevator, not working when we first checked in so we had to take our luggage up for flights upstairs. The rugs need to be cleaned or replaced. Housekeeping consisted of towel replacement and bed making they did not clean the sink or the shower in the bathroom.

Hotel Carmel is a older style hotel right in the heart on Santa Monica, one street back from the beach, a 5 minute walk to the pier. A family owned and run establishment, friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were nice and clean, just old. Tea, coffee and water provided which was a nice touch. Bed was a comfy king, spacious room. Unfortunately no view from our room but it was in a nice quiet location.

Foi o melhor custo/ benefício que já tive em termos de hospedagem. O hotel é bem charmoso e SUPER bem localizado. Os funcionários simpáticos e prestativos. Bem que não tem café da manhã.
